Based on Statistics the Xbox is the most selled console of all time this is because of the low cost first introduced when it was released people thought the PS3 was to expensive after all the PS3 has of course a higher price due to the blue ray laser in it this was something brand new when it first came out back in 2006 now that is why the PS3 is sold less but after all both consoles are pretty much the same!

Bad thing about PS3 is it gets no updates and there's a brilliant update coming to the 360 where there is an app store. Bad thing about 360 is you have to pay online. They're both great!

PS3 is the better entertainment system. Xbox is the better gaming system. Ever since Sony developed the Playstation in 1994, they have added the best entertainment feature of that time. The PlayStation had a CD player, the PS2 had DVD players, and the PS3 had blu-ray players. Therefore, Sony's intention is to make an entertainment system rather than solely a gaming system. Xbox is all all about gaming and DLC's. So take your pick?

The Ps3 network may have gone down, but at least its not our systems with the rrod How long does it take to get one back from microsoft? I think about the same amount of time actually.The xbox 360 is beginning to reach its maximums on gaming potential. example:disc space. the discs scratch easily and if its a big game multiple discs. its only a matter of time that microsoft has to bend down and suck sonys nuts and buy the rights to blue ray, or create another disc. oh wait they have it flopped

Based on Statistics the Xbox is the most selled console of all time this is because of the low cost first introduced when it was released people thought the PS3 was to expensive after all the PS3 has of course a higher price due to the blue ray laser in it this was something brand new when it first came out back in 2006 now that is why the PS3 is sold less but after all both consoles are pretty much the same!

Ps3 will always win the race, in the gaming world, the guy even forgot to mention that the ps3 does 3D.. I don't care who you are or what you do for a living, but if you pay to play your stupid 50 bucks a year......so for those of you who have had an xbox 360 since they were out in 2005... 7x50= 350 bucks....what could you have done with that amount of money.. The ps3 is just now starting to tap its real potential... Xbox is old technology and is still running on DVD's..

After trading in my PS3 for an Xbox Slim a few weeks ago, I'm very happy with my purchase and I wish I had of gotten a 360 ages ago. If any of you stubborn PS3 fanboys just opened the concentration path... you won't even take in anything only "PS3 is better". Well I'm much happier with this than my PS3. I never knew what the fuss was over paying €30 per year plus getting 800 Microsoft Points.

@Lenrom12 The 360 is better, I wasted 2 years with a PS3 when I could have been having much more fun, chatting with my friends and no laggy on online play on Xbox Live. I always thought playstation was the best until I bought this 360. Gears of War and Halo are bonuses. And judging by your grammar, I can see why you prefer the PS3.

@iStartWithB I agree. They are good in different ways. And I found connected my PS3 to the internet the exact same as connecting my 360 Slim to the internet. They both have their strong and weak points. PS3 has better graphics for exclusives in my opinion and Xbox has better online in my opinion.
Bad thing about PS3 is it gets no updates and there's a brilliant update coming to the 360 where there is an app store. Bad thing about 360 is you have to pay online. They're both great!

I have an xbox 360 and ive had it for ages but I really dont see the point in arguing i like both equally and I really dont care for halo, some people say ps3 is better graphics but there is hardly any difference and everyone complains about how you have to pay for xbox live but i only pay like $50 on ebay a year but the marketplace and xbox live partychat on xbox is better than ps3 so its pretty much your own opinion

Being a proud owner of both systems.......this is my verdict:
PS3 is the better entertainment system. Xbox is the better gaming system. Ever since Sony developed the Playstation in 1994, they have added the best entertainment feature of that time. The PlayStation had a CD player, the PS2 had DVD players, and the PS3 had blu-ray players. Therefore, Sony's intention is to make an entertainment system rather than solely a gaming system. Xbox is all all about gaming and DLC's. So take your pick?
