Yeah that taslon has to be pushing around 17-20 psi... btw how on earth are you slow in a probe gt? Average KLDE time is about 15 seconds which isnt slow at all for an NA car...

I really wonder what kind of modifications some people have in their probes.
My Probe (1991) spits out 189hp at ease (slighty modified GTi TBO w/ intercooler ) and with the 2nd turbo, easily 249hp.

Throw a turbo on that probe set at 8lbs, that thing would probably beat your eclipse as to he is so much lighter with similar HP. This is all based off that your car is not modded to extreme.

ask curt brown how reliable a dsm is.. he drives his 9 second car from pittsburg to norwalk for the buschur racing dsm shoot out beats the shit outta it at the track and then drives it home.. gotta know what your doing and not skimp out on quality parts and do regular maintinence and itll be the funnest car you owned.

@sk8rj514 He's also broken most of his cars at the shootout, I believe he broke an axle the year you are referring to, and a motor or 2 of his has blown up on the Dyno. Not saying anything about the guy or the cars just that any car making 4-5x the power it originally was designed for is going to break things.

haha, I did 10 pulls this morning, 20psi, launching at 10. I'll admit my car has broken down a lot, but it's mostly due to previous owners not knowing how to fix or drive them. It's worth it though, so worth it.

a stock grand prix does 16 ish. i have a grand prix se and took it to the track bone stock and hit 16.3 and i got a cold air and exhaust.. with ubend delete. and doing 15.4 i dont know how u put 1700 into a n/a gt and make it only go 15 sec. kinda wierd. i only spend 185 for everything.. haha

it all depends on what Model you are talking about.
There are 2 kinds of Probes the SE and the GT.
The basic SE was just a low priced model with a 2.0 Inline 4 cyl, 16 valves.
But if you opted for the GT Option, that motor was replaced with a Fire Breathing 24 valve 2.5 liter DOHC High Output V6 that really hauls ass !
The GT Option also Included High Performance HD Suspension, Wide Low Profile Eagle GT tires , 4 wheel ABS Disc brakes etc.
