i was disappointed when L died, especially as it felt cheap as light just used rem to kill him and L couldn't do anthing about it. he was a much more interesting character than light and near and mello. and i felt the series was less balanced after he died as it took away the personal competition between light and L and i didn't really care if he beat near and mello..... basically L was AWESOME!
