  • Snagger.

  • @speernfish It is suspicious. Veteran anglers say that really long leaders are meant for "flossing". The International Game & Fish Association thinks so too.

  • the guy fighting the fish has to back up a bit and there's no problem

  • yup yup hoh and sol duc is my rivers and the hump

  • Most times hitting the water I'm alone save fishing buddies and camera people that go along with me. I fish inland, coastal, and offshore places that most don't think to go. I get a lot of fish. The trade-off with fishing popular spots is that there are going to be snaggers. You're in good company with anglers who are concerned about that. I'm thinking about writing an article about the clashes between sportsmen and snagging fishermen.

  • another great chap

  • WITH A LONG LEADER LIKE THAT I BET THAT FISH WAS HOOKED IN THE OUTSIDE OF THE MOUTH TOO. DAMN FLOSSERS!

  • @lucasmorter Most of the time I'd be in agreement; however, in this case it wasn't. It is good to know that other "real" fishermen are aware of the problem of snagging with that technique. Good job.

  • @TimothyKusherets i know of plenty of spots in oregon on the clackamas where flossin is the prefferred fishing method. it is ridiculous

  • Don't forget that the sound and lakes are producing too. You're in the center of it all right now.

  • what river is that? Did you went there recently?
