Aren't conservatives responsible for most of our national dept. Tax cuts, not paying for wars, medicare part D, out sourcing jobs overseas, pork projects, etc. The Republicans are a joke. Jobs went overseas because big businesses have become multinational corporations and outsourced the jobs to foreign countries where the cost of labor is much cheaper. Companies do this to increase their profit margin. Regulations have been loosened up over the past 20 years allowing it to be financially advantageous to do so.

1 Tax cuts for the rich that Bush campaigned for in 2000. Once in office, he and the republican controlled Congress turned the $250B surplus into a massive debt. They couldn't make the tax cuts permanent because the cuts added to the debt and they needed 60 votes for it to pass in the Senate because of that which they didn't get.
2. the two neverending wars weren't payed for or even put in the budget.
What regulations? Minimum wage? Basic civil rights? The constitution? These three not respected overseas; are you suggesting that the government should remove even the most basic tenants of a democracy in order to encourage corporations to hire people at a level comparable to slavery?
Tax breaks and corporate incentives are meant to encourage and promote certain types of business activities and can be a force for good. Unfortunately the tax code can also be a means to surreptitiously pay back political debts. The real solution is not about liberal or conservative because corruption crosses both sides of the aisle. The solution is to stop having committee dynasties and create a formula for fairly rotating committee chairs. This video makes vague accusations but no specifics.

YOU LIE! That is not a fact. Bush Jr. increased the National debt by $1.4T in his last year. That is a fact.
In Bush Jr.'s 8 years he increased the debt by $4.9T. Since Obama has been in office, the debt has only increased by $3.4T.
