I remember the Fresno City College connection when I was a Freshman in College as I went to a couple games and saw Rafer Alston with the dreads before he got them cut and Larry Abney. Wow what great talent from NY they were. If only Allie Moe, (not sure is if I spelled his name correctly) would have followed Rafer on the plane to Fresno State they would have been very talented.

Don't really know what happened to T-Robe. I don't think he was ever the same after he injured is knee his sophomore year (i think it was that yr). I remember when he first came to State. Dude was a slasher. Would attack the rim at will. After his injury, he didn't attack like he used to and started to settle for jumpers.

Wow de ja vu Im from Hawaii and even though Skip Herren and those guys were our biggest rival then I still loved to watch them play. So much talent on those teams. Brunner, Avondre Jones, Courtney Alexander, Melvin Ely etc. The WAC is not what it once was. Hawaii also had a good team with AC Anthony Carter, we beat #2 Kansas w/ Paula Pierce. Good times!

Hawaii had some very nice teams. AC gave Fresno the business a few times. Hawaii seemed to always have Fresno's number, and the fans there are very passionate!! It was such a tremendous rivalry!! I remember being at one of the hawaii/fresno games in the WAC tourney (hosted in Fresno) and it went to triple overtime!! VERY FUN!!

Fresno State will be much better next year. For all the talent on those Tark teams, they seriously underachieved! We only had one NCAA tourney win during the Tark era, and I'm not ever sure it's still on the books. So lets not pump up those days and trash today so much. 23 wins next year.

I hope so! 23 wins will be a hell of a season! They're a young team and it looks like they're headed in the right direction. I haven't heard if Damon Powell from Mcclymond's High is actually at State. I sure hope so, cause he is a ridiculous athlete. Might even be more athletic than Paul George. But George is a better all around basketball player. Powell is sick though!!

I heard Powell didn't qualify and is going the JC route. Maybe we'll be able to pick him up after two years but I doubt it.

HA! Steve Cleveland should be EXILED to Cleveland. We should've hired Vance Walberg when we had the chance. Even if they would've lost, people would much rather see 100-95 games than an awful 1-4 set where some guy shooting 23% from deep jacks up 3's. Just terrible.
