I created the map using this seed in 1.6.6 and then saved it to my 1.1 saves folder. The coordinates are roughly x 124 y 69 z 39

Look for the skinny waterfall and you will know you are in right place.

As far as I can tell (and from what I have read) these awesome seeds no longer work in current versions of minecraft. I keep a copy of 1.6.6 on another user on my PC and switch over to it to create the maps. The save folder can then be copied to your 1.1 saves folder and opened.

this seed is not for beginners though. These giant overhangs create a lot of permanent darkness on the surface - with known consequences)

Since I don't have a recording setup I figured the coordinates would be confirmation enough. I've checked out a lot of "epic" seeds since coming back to Minecraft, but this is the first world I've actually wanted to play in again since Alpha :)
