  • very nice...

  • Hi

On unions its 8/10 on the job I will always pick as opposed to over lifting this is something I will do on the bench as for wires I have always made my own I take accurate measurements from the depth and height of the curtain, levers sure its easy to make a universal wire but will not always work as there will be a short fall somewhere along the line. Why don’t you study the locks you cannot over lift and find out why it will only be one of 2 reasons or both perhaps a custom wire will help

  • What success rate are you having with overlifting curtained locks ? I'M currently on 5 out of 10 with overlifting wires from island locks.

  • Yes you are right in your thinking but take a logical re think and it becomes clear but it is all down to the lever set up. How is it possible to rake one pin tumbler but not another the answer is in the setup of the pins think of the levers as pins and its no different. There is nothing wrong either way just a flaw which can be exploited.

  • You aren't supposed to overlift them...there must be something wrong.

  • Oops, I meant you arent supposed to be able to overlift them.
