@NJPurling Yes, though on my oscilloscope I need to invert and amplify the video signal for the picture to appear correctly. It'll be different for other oscilloscopes.
im trying to attach the tv signal to my oscilloscope, but I have no idea how. I have the oscilloscope, and I know how to use it, can someone help me please!!
its interesting that I've spent the last day or so playing around with a TV converted to an oscilloscope, and here I find someone using an oscilloscope as a TV.
can you make a video of crysis or any other "recent" game played (or just a video of it ) shown on the oscilloscope? THAT would be absolutely awesome!
so that's a square wave right? lol i don't know what i'm talking about...

Do you use external line and frame time-bases and feed the video into a external 'Z' socket?

how many lines has this "television"?
321pocoyo 2 years ago
It's PAL so 576i (625 lines). The resolution is anyone's guess, however.

Doctor Who... IS WIN. i could watch it on an oscilloscope and it would still look fine.

Amazing! Your oscilloscope looks like a lot more fun than the ones I use at school!

Epic. not very aquainted with ancient tech, but I know enough to know this would be difficult.

It would be really creepy if the oscilloscope played this just because it knew it was playing the Dr. Who thing =P
