I like the video because is fair and balance, which is a hallmark of Dr. Thorkmorton. It shows that we really don't know for sure what the origin of homosexuality is. There is yet a debate. What we do know is that there are different factors--some appear environmental and others--it is not so apparent that environment is a factor.
I don't care what you believe, as long as we all have a fair shot at change and we are given just as much a voice as those who don't want to change. Change is possible! that is a fact!
Throckmorton does not believe that homosexuality is a disorder (as far as i know). But i do. Those are my personal beliefs.
There is strong evidence that homosexuality may have an environmental cause. However, further study in this area has been abandon as taboo. There is much evidence taht people can change their orientation.
And there aren't necessarily any research that says it isn't innate, the lack of definitive research does not mean that it can't be true, and studies have shown that homosexuality is not pathology, as it was once believed.
