unlike Playstation, not just anyone could make games for Saturn, that's why there is such a high ratio of classics to crap on SEGA SATURN. Games like this were around and to this day, it is rare to find games balance pain and pleasure so well as TREASURE. They inspire me very much, and I am the creator of "DORA NO MORE" search it on youtube. TREASURE games are my only reason for playing games.
How would you rate the port accuracy and extra modes, I know of the 4:3 issue, but besides that is it worth the buy (I already have the Saturn version).
The game content seems pretty accurate. There is one major difference though: the XBLA version has no slowdown at all. This makes several bosses and a couple of stage areas more difficult. Story Mode (aka Saturn Mode) no longer unlocks credits through play time, but rather, extra lives.
The XBLA version does have the added bonus of Ikaruga-style chaining though (something not available in the ST-V and Saturn versions).
