  • i used this:

    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:

    malwarebytes

  • this didn't help me at all, it would be nice if you could show us a detail step by step way to do what you said.

  • I had a computer that was infected with this, and I found a different way to remove it. Instead of removing registry keys, you simply go on Task Manager, and kill the process "Kbb.exe" or something like that. You must end this process every time you open up a program, since it infects executable files. You will now open your internet browser and see that it blocks pages. You must kill the process again to continue using the internet. Now, just download Malwarebytes, and do a full scan.

  • @WiiViews4You For Windows XP: If the process is "kbb.exe", then go to Start>Search>C:>kbb.exe

Then when the results come up, delete them.

Go to recycle bin and delete them the second time.

For Win 7, I have to figure out. Though, the method I'm using would work on some other viruses, too.

  • I went to the site to find out how to remove it manually and there is not anywhere near close enough detail on what they are talking about. sorry but not all of us understand super computer talk. i believe you should give us step by step instruction on how to find these programs then how to delete them properly. You say this "Next locate and delete the following files associated with Win 7 Antispyware 2012:" then list programs. but how do we find these programs to begin with?
