I like MaSu as much as the next dude, but I agree the vocalist come off as whiny, especially if someone who unfamiliar with the band. I have been a fan since their demos, and I enjoy the music as well as the lyrics, but I can understand why someone would be turned off by the vocals. They just do not share the metal feel of the music sometimes, and that detracts from the passion found within the music.

the song is called anthem apocoliptica for many reasons, the greatest reason of all, however (and i only learned this recently myself) is that the random police radio babble at the beginning of the song is actually recordings of the NYC police radios on 9/11
