Does any one know where this footage comes from ? the quality seems too good for T.V. is it from a film ?

Its from french tv the british gaurds are put on ,but the part were they are playing guitars in front of a microphone are from a btritish promo film [here we get to see tony jackson in his prime ] the next thing that happens is tony starts demanding to sing lead on every song and gets outmanuvered out of the group [ maybe his pulling a gun on a woman had something to do with it ] .

Great video, VeeFan! I like the way you amalgamated the two "Sugar And Spice" videos - I saw the full video from "French TV" elsewhere on YouTube and couldn't handle what they did with it. I really don't enjoy the dancing guards and skeletons at the end! ;-( I'd rather watch the gorgeous boys.  They are so SWEET (pun intended ;-)) that I could just eat them up, especially Mike!

Chris was very dynamic and flamboyant for a drummer.

Yes, Chris was flamboyant to say the least! He also didn't like this song, but he agreed to supply the OOOOO's! Thus his silliness here. Let's face it, all these guys were gorgeous as well as talented. Sigh.......I miss my Chris...RIP. And Tony, RIP, as well.

But at least Mike and John from the original Searchers are still with us.

I sometimes wish Mike was still with The Searchers, but if he's happy working on his own and with his own band, then I support him.
