the only reason that Cloud always wins is because Hojo picked Sephiroth to be the Evil villain who know one could stop but hes 26th clone Nee-San.... Cloud Strife, he was to be the Sample but hojo thought of him as a failure and they put cloud aside because he manifested slower and safer than Sephiroth which made him unstable >>> thats why he turned when he found out he was an alien

Maybe there might be a remake. Rumors surface then die out again and again. Recently Square Enix said that they cant work on a remake because all the teams are busy. So in my opinion, perhaps when they finish FF13s they will start a remake. Who knows?

Technically he doesnt die ever :P well completely that is because hes thoughts are always in the lifestream which means he can enter a new body( in which case the planets screwed because Cloud would be like 80 :P)
