  • Not rare, but not a bad radio. Based on the Maxcom 30E that we got in the UK in 1982

  • Haha Some day before I die I hope to try a radio like this. Melting down the antenna with 4w. Thank god its possible to reduce the output power:):):)

  • sorry dude, not very rare :P And not expensive here in norway!

But its a very good radio indeed!

  • Not rare, but very good quality, i have 2 of em and use it for 27mc foxhunting. (hide and seek with cars)

  • HAM-radio ??

    40ch 4w FM looks like a ordinary cb-radio to me :D LOL

Köb en Lincoln så er du lidt mere inde pa hamradio :D

  • Nice radio, allways wished one like that

  • Koster bare ca. 1000 nok.

  • "Rare" features like variable power 0-4 watts and Antenna Warning!!hahahaha..those are $40 radios in the USA.

CB..also known as Chicken band or Childrens Band are as close to useless as it goes. Pretty funny he tries to pass this piece of shit radio off as a "HAM" radio.

I suspect his car has "Rare" features too..like a ignition switch and tail lights.

Good thing being Stupid/Ignant are not a crime.

  • After seeing this video I would also love one, but I guess I will have to stay for now with my Yaesu FT-897D. But maybe I can hope. There is always hope.

  • Get a Dual Band radio like a president lincoln or a ranger.... Low power 0.5mw high power can go up to 50w with 26mhz to 30mhz with full frequency read out.... Great video Hope to work you one day when the skip lets us Louis.

  • I just realised that the radio in question is HF rig.

  • A very basic radio, But atleast he seems pleased with his purchase.

Perhaps he should be looking at a IC400Pro from Icom. But a quick look at the Danita website isnt encouraging. Maybe there is a opportunity there for someone to show the Danes some good quality new radios?

  • woah nice man, ive heard of those radios they are really rare. About $1700 in australia almost cost more than 1 of my shits i do in the toilet.

  • its a poor radio and its worthless ... who would want an old 40chnl cb radio..

  • Its a very good radio and very rare - you proberly don´t know it cause its too expensive in your country. You can even change output power - very rare and strong radio

  • I really wanted one of these but my wife wouldnt allow me to mortgage the house again! you are one lucky bastard to have one...I'll have to make do with my TS440 :(

  • Retard! That is a CB, not a HAM radio!
