I just got it and you can't make custom characters. It just picks a group of character models depending on genre and gender of the vocals.

First one comes out in a couple of months after RB Wii comes out.

god i hate rockbands guitar strum bar. and the fretplay is slow so its hard to time it right. unless u have only played rockband and not guitar hero. i prefer guitar hero controller but rockband is a gunner game.

Excuse me, but to solve the DLC fiasco, they are bringing out a Rock Band DLC: Volume 1 for PS2 and Wii, with all the biggest downloads. They said that they will make a volume 2, volume 3 etc.

I know. But it's not DOWNLOADING songs. It's just a standalone disc. So if you decide, "Hey, I feel like playing Move Along right now." you'll have to get up and change the discs. And to get back to the actual game, you'll have to get back up and re-insert the Rock Band disc.
