Yeah she did. It was great because her husband was the guest preacher that night, but no one knew that she was coming with him. It was a surprise!

That is great news, i know she sung that house down. I heard her husband quite a times live, and Karen never comes. I guess because it conflicts with her schedule but I am glad that you were there enjoying the experience.

It is like she gets better with age. Young Karen would have her hoarse moments, but older Karen's pipes are always always fresh and on point.

Whitney is not my favorite singer, but she is good. Karen and Chrystal Rucker, are my favorites,I cannot pick out of them. Thier range is out this world, but since I liste to karen more, I pick her.

Yeah Old Whitney's range was just ridiculous super soprano with no effort and when she sings for God again I believe it would come back. She even said on Oprah she felted most comfortable singing for the Lord. I would love a Whitney and Clark Sisters duet with the Clark harmony. I used to say Ms Rucker at one point, but overall Karen is my favorite gospel along with Shun and Chrystal.

I go back and forth between Karen, Lashun Pace, Chrystal Rucker. There all just COGIC BEAST!!!!!!!! I have to admit though Karen can do the most things with her voice up and down octave scale. The thing with Lady Sheard she always sounds different during the eras of her singing career. I like that!

I always love Twinkie and Dorinda too. The thing with Twinkie is she got that POWER like no other in gospel. When that women growls she ain't playing, Karen too. Nobody could mess with Dorinda fast riffs and runs. Karens runs are so complex, but Rinda's are fast and crazy ridiculous. I don't even think Kim sometimes could mess with Rinda in the riff department.

I can't get over the runs and riffs Rinda was doing all her first solo CD. That was just sick. I just love all the Sisters, even Jacky is bad vocally in her own right.

I was like who is that? since then, she become a favorite of mine. My favorite karen era was probably the 80`s or the 09`s, but she still sounds good! What is your fav karen song?

I know the first time I heard Karen was Don't Give Up but I did not realize that was the woman from the Clark Sisters. Definitely Karen to me was in her prime from 1996-2001 vocally. 1996 era when she sung Joy to World until like God's Favor with Tri-City was my favorite era for Karen. My lord that woman was sangin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!! But as she age I must admit she gets better in some areas with the vocals. I love Take it By Force in 1995

I love God's Favor with Tri-City and she cuts up big time on Kim and Kelly Price especially at the end. She felt that! She does some major cutting up with a rendition of Jesus is a Love Song 2001 with her Sisters its on here. 2001 she was singin with all she had seriously. It was critical year for her I think.

I love God`s favor too, she tore that up too. I don`t think I heard Jesus is a love song for the year of 2001, I gotta check that out. One of my fav videos on here with her singing is Oh the glory in the year of 2002., The last note was insane, no one can touch her.

I love all the era`s but the late 80`s and the early 90`s, she was just cutting up. I love Take it by force, did you see how she was growling? "YOU A LIAR, YOU A LIAR, OOOOOOO OH OH" lol she tore that song up, I need to see that again. Have you ever seen her live? i saw her live quite a few times, and when she sings she tears it up everytime.

That growl in Take it By Force is something serious right there. Then she was cutting up with Daryl Cooley with those insane runs too. I never seen her live but my Mom did and she said she tore it up. My Mom said she had a real anoiting and testimony too.

Karen cut up big time in 2007 with her Sisters on Blessing Me. Those high notes and growls were off the chain. The scats were crazy too. Twinkie was a beast too on that!

Karen is not human lol, when she sanged Take it by Force, she tore it up. I was at the One last time concert in houston and mayne they had so much screaming fans. I was sitting by guys that was just yelling "KAREN SING GIRL" LOL Donald lawrence told her to hit a run and she did, and the crowd went nuts. I think twinkie growls are more fierce, what do you think?

Nobody growls as forceful as Twinkie not even Karen. Karen growls are sometimes more louder and complex but when Twinkie growls she means business seriously. I think Karen gets the growls from Twinkie, and the complex runs from Dorinda added to her style. Remember she is the youngest so her Sisters singing style is in her as well.

Yea I agree, Twinkie growls are out this world. It is like a bomb is in her voice and she just cuts loose. I think Karen is the better singer out of them though, her notes are just incomprehensible. Did you know Dorinda has a new cd coming out in November? I am really anxious for Karen, I am not that crazy abut Dorinda like my brother is.

That`s okay, no need to apologize. I first heard her sing Balm in Gilead. I was about 12 or 13,I am 18 now and she still rings supreme in my eyes. Her range is out this world, she would always be my favorite singer. I think there is alot of singers that can sing but few can SANG! LOL

Yes, she is a BEAST! Now I really think of it I love her sound the best now from 2007-2009. Combination of Old Karen, Finally Karen, and the Now Karen all in one. Her sound now is mature, cool, sophisticated, but at the same time Big Karen comes on. I love her vocal maturity.
