i have a belkin fm transmitter and bought it for like 90 bux and there is so much static it is terrible. I just bought one of those cassettes with the cable and i rekon it will be a lot clearer. So i agree with you.
What if you have a CD player only or only AM/FM like my 2000 Ford Police Interceptor? The cassette adapter would be useless. I do have one for my '97 Explorer but it only works with cassette players. And why spend $50 buying a cassette radio for my car when I can just get an FM transmitter for $20?
Wrong bro. I don't think they got them 'til '98. I would have to take out the head unit and probably wire it into the back somehow, and that just ain't worth it.
I got it last night. There is a 2 station preset buttons that lets you go back to a clear station that you found. I can't get them to work, they keep saying 107.1 witch, where I live has a station within it. Has any one found out how to rest these preset buttons?
ye but cassette adaptors don't work in cd players does it? so you need an fm transmitter to connect your ipod

Considering you got a CD player you can hook up your mp3 with the Audio Auxiliary port.

My '97 Explorer has a CD player with 6 disc changer in the center console and there's no Audio Auxiliary port.

Sure there is, you just have to find it.
