youtube stops counting views in real-time once it gets to 300-310 depending on how fast they come in before it can stop in time. it gets to 300, sends the word to stop real time view counts, and then stops, usually 1-10 more views get in before that time.

this happens on every single video with more than 300 views within a certain time period, even vids that get 1,000 likes per hour are stuck at 301 views for a whole day
