Jesus died on the cross and rose again so that we would all live. Death=sin and comes from temptation and the devil. Jesus Christ represents everlasting life after death and love. That's what's wrong with the cult. Their praying to a false idol from Aztec beliefs instead of praying to Jesus. First they worship Mary even though they should be praying to the lord and now it's saint death. What's next? I know people that are Saint Death worshipers and they come with different ideas some are totally Catholic and just add Saint Death as another saint. Others consider themselves Catholic but place more importance on Saint Death and the smallest group are those that ONLY believe in Saint Death as the only deity in existence. And all believe that they have the correct approach! I don't bother telling people they should be 100 Catholic or not b/c its really none of my business.

I agree my mom is Anglican so there's no worship of saints. Anglo Church broke off from the ridiculous idol worship of the Catholic Church. I'm a non denominational Christian so I think it's more important to have relationship with Jesus than just offering gifts to a statue of Mary or Saint Death when you have problem. So sad!!! Worshiping death is nothing new. Ancestor worship is one of the oldest forms of religion. The keeping of the bones/ ashes of the elders is something many of us do. I tend the grave of my ancestors and find that this gives me a feeling of peace and protection. Great story, religion should serve the spiritual needs of the people, not oppress them in to acceptable behavior!
