It is crazy how the time goes.... I remember to have the same feeling with my old (2007) Dell XPS M1710 high spec one. That computer in that moment was considered a very powerful device. Now i have a Alienware m15x because that one have the video card fried and the power its not comparable with my alienware. It feels weird to see how the technology evolve because that was only 3 years ago and mine easily have twice the amount of power of my old pc. Trust me i receive mine with the same emotion

I am having my Alien Ware Aurora shipped in December 5th!!! Woot!!! =] And it's totally worth paying for, the computer looks really cool, its an amazing brand, the name is cool, the accessories, and the computers power proves that it's worth buying. And lastly you don't need to make it yourself, im guessing making it yourself might cost about $100 less...think about all the tax you would have to pay if you buy them separately.

this is why alienware sucks ass. I cant remember how long ago it was but dell bought out alienware so now all of the alienware comps are just dells in a better looking case lol. Also its not worth the money buying a pre built comp like a dell or alienware even if oyu dont no anything about comps jus go down to just about any comp store and ask them to build you a cutom made pc its cheaper and they work alot better.

cant build custom laptops buddy, not too many manufacturers give out barebones of their laptop models. The last known barebone alienware laptop was the one built off the clevo design which was the m7700. If you want a desktop hell go build it and grab parts from newegg but many people like myself prefer laptops. I myself have an asus G51 and I threw a 3.5 core 2 extreme in. Half the price and just as good as an m15x but it is not an alienware.

Correction, if you know how to build your own laptop, you can get better parts for cheaper and all you have to do is build it yourself, and you can make a computer as fast as you want it to go, thats the truth. I have a friend, that builds his own comps, he put 7 SSD in his desk top, he told me it's faster than any commercial desktop sold to the public.
