I don't care itf it communism or capitalism or democratic or whatever, as long as the government takes good care of the citizens then I love that kind of politics. However, neither Vietnamese nor American goverment have done the justice yet so...

The War in Vietnam was a fucked up war. I am now Vietnamese American, I do not support on any war that U.S going to wave on. I love my Viet people, Viet people never want to have war,it was the French fault and the American fault to support the French for return to Vn in 2nd accupied. Then there no Communist brought to VN by Ho Chi Minh before that if the French just return to their homeland.Why da fuck the French didn't realized war is evil in WWI and give back the countrol of Vn to Vietnamese.

Lets say..every American donate 1 dollar only for sick children who infected by Amercian Orange Agent bomb in Vietnam. But they did not do that....They paid for their soldiers who got infection too.. but the children in vietnam got nothing. S.. Yes we are the best country , we are number one, best moralities....

You guys seem like a very intelligence group for keeping a clean forum here. I encourage yall to look into both view points. Go to wikipedia and type in vietnam war to research it. They have it in Viet version too. Agent Orange is a tragic problems. For now, we really don't have time to fight eachother or to grieve for what was lost anymore because it's already done. there's only time to clean up the mess and hope for the best.
After 75, Vietnam seems to go backward. Under socialism (not yet achieved to the state of communism), it's very hard to distribute wealth evenly among people. there are people who work harder than others, and there are people who physically need more than others. Communism only work in small tribal community rather than a whole country.
I just don't understand if thinking and applying Communism is unrealistic why all American have Martin Luther King Day? He said "I have a dream" which basically what has said in Communism theory.
I'm not saying I like communism but why it does not make sense that way...
Communism is an idealistic government and is not suitable for the real society, therefore it was forced to root out by itself.
VN is gradually changing. People does have somewhat of a freemarket now but it is still at very slow change. I'm glad vn is reunited (land wise) but I am still hoping for our people to reunite as well.
We cannot forget the past when foreigners always think about Vietnam and communism as the most devil thing in the world.If we cannot make it clear who was right and who was wrong, at least we must the world clear that Communism is just unrealistic, not devil like terrorism.
I dont agree with u "soulkeeper", come to Vn to see how it is now. U said that million of Vnmese tried to escape from Vn before, because they were following American and they afraid that new government wouldnt forgive them.I admit that the communist leader was wrong , but they reliezed and recorrected it, now Vn is friend with many countries and it has developing .
Even our country still have some problem to fix and sometimes im not happy about this, but i believe we can do it better and im always proud of Vietnam:-)

I totally agree with u. It has nothing to do with not forgiving but a whole lot of people still suffer from it even now. If we gorget about their sacrified, then it would be real sad. And the US Governments cant just say they didn't know it was dangerous then shrug off their responsibility.
