  • Excellent.....

  • no one compares

  • Robin Zander and Tom Petersson make my heart skip a beat

  • What the hell are you people talking about? Def Leppard completely sucks and has nothing to do with Cheap Trick! If you want to compare a band to Cheap Trick make it the Smashing Pumpkins, who gladly offer praise to both Cheap Trick and Queen for their main inspiration . . .

  • A totally warped and possessed Rick Nielsen at 1:07.

  • @crapple009 LOL!

  • We're talking about Cheap Trick, right? I don't compare them to any other band, period. I've been a fan since the 70s.

  • Speechless.. Those days, those bands... True music to enjoy life.. Pure, simple and magic.. It makes feel so good... i love Cheap Trick (-:

  • I too keep coming back to this tune,it,s probably my favourite by CT and they do have many.i like the beat and rythem to it.

  • Put these guys in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame NOW!!!!

  • Saw Cheap Tricks bout 8 times in the 80's, opening up for "greater bands" Trick blew away the headliner everytime!

  • ranmore20002000-Same here! I saw them warm up for a local hack band called The Godz right when Heaven Tonight came out.

Cheap Trick frickin blew them away!!!!

  • ooh, baby needs some brand new shoes.

get out on the street, you got nothing to lose :)

  • These catz are great saw them on tom sawyers island at disneyland in anaheim in the 1980's.

  • Gotta love those Southern Girls... Oh yeah

  • Cheap Trick is THE BEST!!! Only seen them a few times but always great - always!

  • Oh man I CAN'T WAIT to see these guys again (5th time) in tulsa next month...Poison ad Def Lep should open for CHEAP TRICK! YAY FELLAS!!! U ROCK!

  • no doubt. Poison and Def Lep aren't fit to hold Cheap Trick's collective jock straps.

Cheap Trick still rules, still rocks, and still have self-respect. three things which definitely CAN'T be said for those other hair-metal posers.

  • @peyoteugly That statement is half bullshit! I have seen CT six times and love them to death. But to say Def Leppard cant hold their jocks is bullshit! I have seen DL three times. DL came out almost the exact time CT did. 3 years later. Poison is junk i will agree on that. But DT has two lead guitar players CT only one. DL Guitarist Colleen and Campbell are everybit as good as Rick Neilson. I would put CT ahead of Leppard no doubt. DL IS NOT a hairband. They started in 77. 8yr before hairbands

  • @LesSmith45 Def Leppard died when Steve Clark did.

  • @catrod24 That is not even remotely true. That being said Steve was an outstanding player no doubt. Too bad he couldnt hand his booze & drugs, what a waste. But i am not here to dog a dead man. I have see Def Leppard two times in the last five years & have tickets to see them again this summer. They are every bit as good as they were when Steve was there. Vivian Campbell is every bit as great a guitar player Steve was. Maybe better because he was smart enought not to kill himself. What a waste.

  • @peyoteugly

Agree, but please don't mention those 'bands' in the same sentence.

  • mmmmmmm...southern girls....oh yeah

  • One of the greatest bands ever. Always quality....in the way their tunes are written....instrumentally......vocally.......ALWAYS quality.

  • Agreed, can't believe they recorded with John Lennon as well

  • And you can thank Yoko Ono for putting a stop to it, according to Jack Douglas, the producer.

  • Are you saying she was controlling? John had the right idea when he put her in a bag. Heard she tried to kill the Beatles Vegas show as well until they paid her off. I hope Karma (Instant) is a bitch.

  • 28if.....I couldn't agree more. Great line by the way...

  • AWESOME!!!!!...thanks DannyFnSaint for this one,

  • I believe it was Peter Criss who first sang, "You got nothing to lose!"

  • SOUTHERN GIRLS!!!

    You got nothing to lose!!!

    Whoo Hooo!!!

  • One of my Favs by Cheap Trick!!

  • Greatest fucking song ever!!!

  • What a fucking great song!!

  • @mettalic78

Can't say it better than that.

  • This live version is so much better than the recorded version.

  • i disagree...they're both great...but the album version has that tight tight cheap trick pop rock amazingness..its completely sick.

  • I wachted Live at the Budokan

8 times, ive only had it for 2 days!

Anyways. The way they sound is amazing.

Im happy to see that they still sound the same, after all these years. Not that many bands from that time can't pull it off. Sadly

  • Fantastic vid of a Perfect song. I have to call fowl on the "All shook up" comment. that was a Crazy Great album! High Priest of Rhythmic Noise, Baby loves to Rock, Stop this game, Just got Back.....???!!!!!! Amazing. I rest my case...... I SAID GOOD DAY SIR

  • CT All Shook Up along with ACDC Back In Black are my best 1980 albums. And that's saying a lot...Back In Black rocked and blew anything that period...CT ASU also rocked to the top.

  • I was rollin doob after doob to this....on the album man--Magic incense an blacklite bake

  • espectaculares, buenísimos!!

  • Probably one of the best rock songs ever. If you have the opportunity, check out the 2002 re-recorded studio version. BLOWS the original AWAY.

  • Dannyfuckingsaint is a LEGEND!!! thanks again

  • This band is the best. period..

  • Thanks for the post Danny!

  • It sounds like an audience recording. Did the japanese crew really record it/mike it like this? This is the song that made me an instant fan in April of '78 when I first heard it on the radio at my grandma's.

  • Dude...frigging Zander could really blow. I love a lot of CT, but have to admit that those first two records are just off the hook good. I need to go listen to those first couple records, for the eighteen-zillionth time. Loud.

  • I don't agree....Dream Police was a great album. Their following LP, All Shook Up did suck big time. It was such a great dissapointment after jewels like Cheap Trick, In Color and Heaven Tonight.....

  • Rock hit its Apex with Cheap Trick circa 1979.

  • We will NEVER see the likes of this genius again.

  • I need some brand new shoes. Cheap Trick. One of the greatest American bands. Ever.

  • i hate it when people clap to a song unless your in church that the only time i dont care

  • Cheap Trick can do whatever they want! woooo!!!!

  • im not refuring to the greatest band of all time

  • Another great, and completely underappreciated CT song. :DDDD Love you Robin!

  • Ah, Rick Nelson, the other Angus Young. One of my favorite Cheap Trick songs.

  • Excuse me. Rick > Angus

  • Great tune

  • Danny, you ARE an fn saint
