A perfect sunny tune, makes you wanna hurry outside and enjoy the summer. Paul at his best making these lovely tunes. One of my favourites, makes me HAPPY
Indeed - a stellar example of one of Sir Paul's songwriting strengths, merging two or more songs into one cohesive track. (Remember - 'Band on the Run' was really like 3 songs put together. :>).
And this album featured Jerry Marotta and Phil Collins on drums!

@accordionreid Doesn't matter to me what you say and it shouldn't matter to you what I say. You don't HAVE to agree with what I think. It's pointless you 'labelling' me as this or that
@TheKenfig You are right, I live in denial. I love Paul's music so much!. I remember first time I played this song. It was a golden summer ( just like the song said) and my daughter who was 6 was enjoying the new album too. Great memories.
@accordionreid I'm glad for you that you do. Each to their own taste. I have my favourite McCartney albums ; this is certainly not one of them. I been a fan of The Beatles and their solo members work since the 60s
@TheKenfig What is your personal favourite Paul album? The albums I play the most often are Ram, Tug of War, Band on the Run and Back to the Egg. My favourite post Beatles album is All Things Must Pass.
@accordionreid I really like 'McCartney' as it is a cool album with mostly great tracks, though 'Junk' is a bit sweet for me. Ram is a great one, as is Band On The Run, Venus & Mars, Tug Of War, Flowers In The Dirt and Chaos And Creation.I did buy Press To Play when it was new but after liking some tracks from side one initially, for me it proved not to stand the test of time for long and I can't even remember much of side two.All Things Must Pass is stunning & Lennon 1st 2 albums
@TheKenfig I am glad you like the Flowers in the Dirt Album. I think Elvis Costello added some new life to Paul's songwriting and his wife Diana Krall is on Paul's new album coming next month.
Good Times Coming was my favourite song on this album and I love all the songs despite the critics had nothing good to say at the time. The photo on the album is my favourite! Feel the Sun is Paul singing in style! Love it much!
Senti il sole brillare su te, è la gioia di vivere che Paul sembra voler trasmettere all'ascoltatore ...

Great song from perhaps his best album with Linda and Dave Stewart. Now Dave Stewart is rocking with Ringo!

the only really great track on the album
Jorders40 1 year ago
@Jorders40 It's a poor album generally with Paul going through the motions with shallow and formulaic songwriting

@TheKenfig You sound like a shallow and formulaic critic. Actually you are one.

@TheKenfig You are correct! It is pointless because you are not thinking. When you do think about it we agree that the song is pretty good.
