  • 1:15...first time in my life I see Phil using traditional grip.

  • What model of organ is the keyboardist using? Can anyone please tell me?

  • So wonderful to see these songs again! This album was my best Christmas present in 1969!!!

  • Update: Gordon Smith is actually building his HMS Ark Royal in a field he owns behind his garden. He is working in wood, using only hand-tools .... it is his wish to avoid using any electrical machine tools. He currently tours with Big Stan Thunderbolts and they expect to release the album 'Mild Maurice' later this year.

  • Gordon Smith now lives in Holland near Maastricht. The last I heard of him was that he stills plays music but is concentrating on building a life-size replica of the Ark Royal in his garden.

  • just one more night phil, ID LOVE TO SEE YOU IN CONCERT AND MAYBE ACTUALLY MEET YOU IN PERSON..

  • Three months later, in August 1970, Phil joined Genesis and went on to much bigger things.

  • I can see why they never went places.

  • Somebody dug this album up during the late seventies and copies went right round the school. Phil's voice is actually quite listenable to on this album (Saturn) more so than I've ever heard him since and he's given us some utterly excruciating moments to compare (More Fool Me).

Weren't they all actors or something? I checked on wikip[a]edia but there is no info about this.

  • celestial...

  • Easy man. I only jocking, of course he is Phil Collins. He is my favourite musican. And he realy looks very cute at this part.

  • I thougth was a joke...! impossible to dont recognize him!

  • the best I found in YOUTUBE ... regrets and thanks for it...never seen before this Flaming youth ... only I knew that Phil had this band... now, he can make what he wants... please let it be... all he did before is more than others never have done! love Phil...god save you...

  • Drummer is realy cute. I wonder what he doing now. He reminds me someone else. ;)

  • is THE DRUMMER.... only listen ... Phil Collins...who else! say something now...!

  • Tragic how Phil Collins "progressed" from this great music to crap such as Sussudio, In the Air Tonight, etc. etc. Financial success? - yes. Artistic success? - do me a favour. He claims he hated the music of the 70's and always wanted to play more romantic and "accessible" music. Who is he deluding?

  • @Gruntol5 Maybe "Sussudio" is, but "In the Air Tonight" is certainly not crap.

  • Better than Genesis.

  • so diffrent, but not better.., remembers me Deep purple... so,,,,who is who...here is the music! a great beggining of a great music ... and there were Phillll...

  • and then there were Phil....

  • Super music from first group of young Phil Colins.

    Silver from Poland.

  • Reminds me a bit of "The Nice."

  • I was thinking along those lines a bit more Refugee I reckon i.e. Moratz rather than Emerson

  • Gah...YouTube out of sync again!

  • Yes - but it's really worth listening to the album as a whole. The songs are great - and the words so prophetic in 1969.

  • This is certainly my favourite of the three I have watched so far. The jazzy element so far. Thanks for finding and uploading!
