A good thing about DISCO music is that they followed the basic principle of beginning, middle and end of melody. With it, a first melody was introduced, then a "development" which is variations on the first theme was played, and finally a conclusion which is a mix of both melody and development... of course at the end the melody uses a bridge to end the song. Music is like Math... it is perfect and all the beats count.

OMG! If's there's Love, than don't go away! Why would you? I LOVE this song. The words, the bongos, the steel drums, but most of all because I was only 17 when I moved out here 2 L.A.from the NYC. I danced my butt off 2 this song. Elvis eat ur heart out, cause my hips were thrusting, & then some. Because this song brought it out, and still does. And yes, I may be 52 now, but them hips and then some r still going strong. Great disco era, classic!

Ah, this brings back memories of when I moved to NYC in the spring of 1979. I first heard this song during my one and only visit to the Gaiety in Times Square, along with "Forbidden Love" by Madleen Kane.

Classic disco - I still remember when this hit the club scene. Billboard magazine hyped it pretty high and it hit BIG. Classic keyboard, strings and percussion; lush vocals and intrumentation. Love the hand claps at the break. Unmistakeable. Wonder what happend to this artist? I still have the 12" which is slightly differnent from this one.
