Not sold on this one. The line item veto is a double edged sword; as good as it is bad. It depends on who is weilding it. I wold never want to give Bush a line item, so I wouldn't want to give it to anyone. I say let the Senate fight out the particulars and let the President veto the whole thing if that is his/her choice.

Like everybody I was chocked to see the "hijacked planes" slam into the towers on that day. But when 2 hours later I saw the fist tower collapse, my blood almost froze inside my veins. Mike Gravel and Kucinich, two anti-war candidates had to sit at the end of each side, while Hillary, Obama and Edwards were in the center and got the most camera coverage and time to talk.
