  • yo yo yo i think you forgot to zip up your pants -.-

  • @AndrewSmile123 there's a hole in my pants...my zipper was fine.

  • i find turtle really hard.... baby freeze i cant balance.. T_T

  • this guy is funny as fuck and break dances??? holy shit... this gets a "classic"

  • LOl u have a hole in your pants xD

  • bro i love yo vids like no joke they help me alot and i just started but i no a very very easy way 2 baby freeze

  • @SpectroKiddGetsOff haha thanks homie...did u do a Tutorial on it?

  • Dope yo! Check mine out

  • can fat kids do this?:D

  • @megafootballstar overtime yes...depending on your definition of "Fat" obviously the more weight you have on you...the harder it'll be to do the move..but it'd still be possible

  • @megafootballstar yes u can

i was fat, and now im doin em all

just depending on how fat u are

if you are just a lil overwight then ull do it in a few moths

if u are a huge guy, then try get stronger and do straight 4 windmills and munchmills =)

  • @bboy1yoda did you have trouble putting your right leg to your free balancing hand? Or is it just me :o

  • @FormatxCwalk man i had a lot of problems, like i wasn't strong enough , i wasn't flexible and so on, i had problems with my legs cuz i wasnt strong enough so flexed and i solved it, and od pushups and situps for this, gleps alot

  • @megafootballstar yes im fat im about 14 stone and im able to do it , i leared a different way from this im going to refer u to this guy type in the search bar boredazn1207 and go to his channel or just his vids then go to the baby freeze one

  • Nice muscles. Awesome dancing

  • nice tut man, you uploaded this ages ago but the freeze you had trouble naming was a 'hang glide freeze'

    keep it up :D

  • oh sick sick...thanks homie

  • nice video man, im a beginner bboy and it benefited me a lot. Just a question im right handed and when i try the baby freeze my right shoulder starts to hurt. Is this normal, also im a pretty skinny dude so i don't have a lot of muscle, does that make a difference. thanks

  • Hey man thanks for the comment homie

to answer ur question...I don't think your shoulder should be hurting you...it depends on how ur doin it i guess, I'd have to see...if u have a came send me a vid so i can give you some pointers...and in terms of muscles naw man you don't need big muslces bro...if you look at a lot of breakers a lot of them are lanky...it's all about strength not size so do push ups/ body weight exercises...you;'d be surprised...most body builders can't do push ups

  • why is your pants have a hole in it?

  • I ripped them while practice windmills

  • are you right handed or left handed?

  • @jarrenh1 Right handed

  • This really helped, Im not good at balancing at those other stuff you did to help my baby freezes but I can balance for a long time doing a baby freeze. Does that happen to other people?

  • i just started bboy 3 days ago and iam able to do it on my left hand for like 10 sec now .. but on my rite(my strong) hand i somehow fail.. strange

  • thank you soooooooo much !! you rocks !!!!!

  • haha no problem :P

  • greeeat!!!

  • hey tactix 2 questions

should start with baby freeze first or turtle freeze?

    and second questions is

is strength extremely vital? like as in do i have to actually do heaps of working out of my strength beforehand in order to do the freezes?

  • Well turtles aren't really a requirement just good to have so you're comfortable stabbing on both hand....Definitely should have the Crab freeze down though(freezing on one hand)

  • Hey, i got the turtle, and everything down,

I just can't seem to get my right leg on my left elbow, do you have any tips for that?

    Oh and great vid btw.

Easy to understand, beginner friendly ;D

  • Thanks homie...glad it helped

I had the same difficulty at first too! and honestly its a matter of stretching for it to get ur body to do that while in a freeze position like that...use the technique i mentioned at 4:30 and it should help...try bringing ur free hand closer so ur leg doesn't have to force its way up so much

  • to answer your 2nd question...Workin out is beneficial in breakin' but when i say this, ppl hit the gym right after and bench press..but hitting the gym won't do anything for you because breakin' is all body weight and believe it or not, most body builders can't even do Chin ups. To get strong for breaking do isolated work outs(body weight exercises) like push ups, handstand push ups, pull ups, dips etc..and just keep practicing.Check out my turtle tutorial on my page it has a few workouts

  • Thanks for the tips man

i will practice hard and let you know how i did

    one last question lol

the one hand stab i can do (crab freeze if you prefer), but i need to really tense my abs a LOT so i can actually lift my legs. That's normal right?

  • haha yeah man it's normal...ur going to struggle with it for awhile until you get it...cause ur body needs to build the appropriate muscles to allow you to do those kind of moves...so trust me when i say "Practice makes perfect" is not an understatement...do some crunches to build up your abs if you wish (It'll help)...good luck man...feel free to post a video response of ur progress man...good luck

  • How long should I be able to hold my turtle? (2 handed and 1 handed)

  • it's all a matter of comfort....you should be able to hold one (2 handed comfortably for atleast a good 5-10 seconds) same with a one handed just practice holding it everyday to build strength, that's what i did and then my arms developed the muscles i needed to hold the freeze...take a while but you'll get it guy

  • Thanks man

  • I was able to do the baby freeze but not the turtle :s i couldnt get my legs up HAH

  • As cliche' as it sounds it honestly just takes practice

when i first started breakin and tried doing this move... I litterally spent 30 minutes each day just holding myself in a turtle freeze and trying to force my legs up..i kept doing this and kept struggling but all that struggle began building muscle in my back and i was actually conditioning my body to adapt to the move so just keep at it and good luck :)

  • its the leaning forward from what people tell me and even from my own experience

  • i cant turtle for shit..but baby freezes are HELLA easier

  • nice vid but is your fly down?

  • lol naw i was breakin before hand and my pants ripped prior to making this video...damn that's some embarrassing shit!

  • Nice Vid helped ALOT

  • Nice Tutorial..the most helpful I've seen..THx

  • ARGH! I can't get it. The weight on my hands is so amazing and my stab actually stabs to the point where it starts to hurt.

Do I have to do more press-ups or sumthing?

  • you just have to balance if your stab hurts then put it in a different spot

  • thanks man this video is cool peace

  • hey maan thanks for makin this vid..It's the first one that actually teaches me how to stab right... Thanks!

  • Hey, yooh actually helped me. xD

Most videos I've seen so far did nothing.

    Thanks dood.

  • whats the name of the song in the background?

  • Warren G - This DJ (instrumental)

  • how do you shift the weight to ur stab arm???

  • Your weight shud be on your stab on and then ur free hand shud remain stationary so you can bring you knee to that arm.....to get use to shifting ur weight watch my turtle tutorial on my page for some shifting techniques that might help you get use to it

  • and wen i do it i dont go very high

  • y does it hurt my wrist wen i stab??

  • You have to condition ur wrist into getting use to doing them...in my next Tutorial which will prolly be turtles and Dark Hammers i'll go over some wrist strengthening techniques that will help you get use to these kinds of moves

  • why can't I do the turtle freeze.... I cant stab both hands...fuck

  • dam man help me, how do ya liike elevate ur legs.....do i have to do pushups or something?? LMFAO xD im just a little kid tryin to learn this btw

  • LOL sorry for the late reply....at what part are u having trouble in terms of elevating ur legs...it's all just a matter of forcing ur legs up...use ur head as support/balance to take some of the weight off ur wrists and this will make it alittle easier for u to lift ur legs up

  • thank you

  • dude its really hard 4 me cuz im fat but im tryin to be a bboy

  • Hmm, I have a question. I finally was able to baby freeze, and finally got it down, but most of my weight goes on my leg that rests on the non-stabbing arm. Because of that, I can't really do much with my legs once I'm in the freeze. How would I shift my weight more to my head or my stabbing arm? As soon as I take my knee from the leg during the baby freeze, I just collapse.

  • You can try scissoring back and forth with your legs to make the move more effective...because you just got it down...ur prolly not use to it as yet but play around with it until you develop strength in that position...and even try kickin up to a head stand or something....I'll post some demonstrations soon!

  • Yo I got the turtle freeze somewhat now. I can hold it for a few SECONDS with my head off the ground.

    I got the baby freeze.

    Tutorial request:

How to incorporate the six step into the baby freeze

How to balance and hold the turtle freeze. LOL I got to practice breathing!

  • ooo....6 step to baby freeze...that'd be a nice one to do

iight i'll work that one out and post it as soon as i can

  • Thanks. :) Yeah, it will be very helpful! I appreciate that you want to help.

LOL What's the point if I can do different moves but don't know how to use them in sets.

I got the 6 step (both right and left) and the 3 step..now I'm working on the 2 step (aka baby swipe)

  • Ah, after countless videos, this one really helped the most. Thank you very much. ^^

  • no problem

    glad it helped

I'll try to post more stuff soon!

  • when u lay down are u on your left side or right side

  • I lean to my right side....but everyone is different...it's a matter of comfort really....utilize your more dominant side( If ur right handed try it on the right side)

  • i tried this so many times before, but it just didn't work.. now i know how to do it step by step. I just have to practice more thanks a lot this video is great!!

  • Glad i could help

    good luck....practice hard

  • This tutorial helped me a lot. I got the baby freeze now!

:( Now hook me up with tips for the turtle freeze so I can get the hand glide.

  • LOL I noticed in this video you do the turtle mad quick.

I'm backwards. I can do the baby now, but I need help for the turtle

Thanks for the tutorial...you should do a turtle freeze tutorial

  • haha nice homie

yeah i'll make a turtle freeze soon!

  • Yes please do. :) I got to get my turtle freeze and hand glide lol

  • thnks man... You`re guns are real big!

  • lol yur guns are big

  • great video!

  • hey

how doo i know my leg is in the right prosition?? like is it point to the air or side way and stuff

  • which leg are u refering to?

  • both

  • Hmm, Im having trouble stabbing and getting off the ground.

I'm not sure if I'm starting off in the right position...

    help?

  • hmm i need to see an example of how u do it in order to really see what it is ur doing wrong...record a video of u doin it if u can...and send me the link in my inbox and i'll take a look and try to help u out

  • Comment removed

  • It's not dumb at all homie...not everyone can get this move there first try...it takes some getting use to...ur body has to get comfortable with you in that position and build enough strength to support yourself....what is it about the stabbing that's giving u a hard time...becuz before we can get u off the ground we gotta find out why u can't stab

  • do you have to be flexible to get your right leg onto your left elbow? o_O"

  • Flexibility helps but it's not required

if ur having trouble then try bringing left arm in closer

  • hey thanks man, I appreciate your tutorial a lot =). I am having a lot of trouble of switching my legs for now but I am working on it. Thanks again!

  • does the rush of blood to the head eventually ease up? It sorta makes me dizzy =]

  • hmm...that's new...not sure if that's every happened to me...it might be something u get use to or it could be because you may not be doin it accurately...Post a vid so i can see

  • thanks dude!

  • man!!! i can do the stab position but i just cant lift my body of the ground!!

  • Yeuh. Go Yankees.

  • my leg keeps slipping off..

  • yeah that use to happen to me too!

just stretch your legs before u start. and u gradually get it

  • i think im just too fat to do this....my head hurts though....and my arm got sprained and my legs just cant lift!!

  • You just need to keep practicing man

anyone shud be able to do this move...if you're not exactly fit, it doesn't mean you cant do it...just means u have to work alittle harder...but that shudn't discourage u bro...if things in life came easy they wouldn't be worth doing...goodluck bro

  • how do you lift your legs up??

  • i keep on watching it and finally i got it!!!!!wow thnx it really help me!!!!!

  • if u just practice, this move is pretty easy, u'l see ;] yea im still a noob though XD, but i got baby freeze down, and trying to switch sides while doing baby freezee, its harder than u think xP

  • umm i dunno how to left me legs up that parts hard is there anything i can do to help it?

  • can you like make a tutorial to show how to add styles to a basic freeze or a baby....??

  • Can you do other tutorials? :D Like for maybe toprock variations, turtles etc

  • Yeah man no problem

  • im havin trouble gettin that knee on my elbow :P

  • phew...i got it lol.......

  • sorry, but all of a sudden i lost my stab. does it take strenght to have ur arms to hold ur body or is it just placement where the elbow is?

  • dude im starting to getting my legs up

thnx for ur comment it really helpt

sorry for my english im dutch u know XD

  • No worries bro...glad you're starting to get it

  • thnks breh! i can do a stab really well now!

  • im fat

and i cannot get my legs up

    can anyone help me ??

  • if ur having trouble getting ur legs up during the turtle freeze...don't focus so much on doing the move itself focus on building the strength and balance needed to do the move...ur body has to get use to doing the move...so start by doing prep exercises to help u...get into the turtle freeze and just keep elevating ur legs in 3 sets of 10 repetitions...u'll build strength in ur arms and will also work ur lower back to make the move easier for u to do...hope that helps

  • this mite sound stupid but how do u manage to lift ur legs up???? my legs jus wont lift up!!

  • this mite sound stupid but how do u manage to lift ur legs up???? my legs wont lift up!!

  • at what point are you not able to lift you legs?

During the Turtle Freeze or during the baby freeze...you may not be strong enough to lift you legs up yet which is normal... you kinda just have to practice at it through trial and error to build a tolerance for it...also work on your balance...Record yourself doing them so i can help you better.

  • tactix that looks so difficult b ut u made it lookso easy! wow ur awesome keep it up =) p.s: im a beginner and ive tried 2 do it so many tyms but im doing it wrong i even place my arm into my hip and tried is it cuz im left handed? HELP!!

  • Hey SaraBays..Thanks for the compliment :)..when it comes to doing the baby freeze or any freeze in general it's got alittle bit to do with strength and balance...you have to work on being able to at least support ur own body weight. It has nothing to do with you being left handed, if u are then that would be your stab hand cuz it's most likely stronger than ur right...but ur body isn't use to being in the position so just keep practicing it and building strength for it

  • hey u make it look so easy, wat bout if you want 2 do that but ur a beginner and not so strong can u still do it im desperate 4 help!!! ur reli good though!

  • Push ups are the best way to build strength..do different push up variations until u can atleast get to 15 reps easily..then start practicing the basic stab freeze (freeze at 3:54).once you can do that one comfortably and u can hold it for a long time work on getting the baby freeze which should be easier to achieve by this point...remember to warm up your wrists before any of this tho even before doing the push up..I hope this helps u,if u still have let me know..good luck :)

  • Thanks!!!

    LOL The pant!!!

  • it's nice that u share what u know about breakdancin.. keep dancin..

  • really good tutorial, you explained alot of things good in a calm and understandable way

im still learning the baby freeze but this is helping me visualize what i have to do alot better

  • ouh yeah... and can u help with windmills...

coz' i can get only 1 round but not 2 or more...

  • ur zipper. O_O kidding..

  • HAHA was hoping no one would notice that lol

my pants actually ripped doing windmills :P

  • ahahah! So I was the first one who noticed that?. that was s0o funny. well nywey its cool. the subject wasnt the pants though, its ur baby freeze. =)

  • lol nevermind then ,thx for the video

  • naw bro i wanna help u out...just rewrite what u wrote to me in alittle more detail so i can help u

  • hey tactix, do you know how to do the hand whice is near the hip go flat on the ground?

  • Sorry bro not quite sure what you mean...what is it your asking?

  • thaaaank you !

ive watched other tutorials but this one is the best .

    thanks man ! :P

  • tnx but

why cant i do it, i can do the other kind of freeze???

  • If you have a cam, record urself doin the freeze and post it/send it to me so i can help correct what's giving you trouble

  • thanks for the help man.

1 question i cant really hold my weight :p

    so do push ups help?

  • For sure...Push ups are always beneficial...the stronger and more flexible you are the easier certain b-boy moves will be..that being said you don't have to go and hit the gym tmr and bulk up, doin body weight exercises such as "Push Ups" are good enough but it's not just about strength it's about balance as well. no matter how strong u get, if you can't learn to balance ur body weight too ur gonna fall into problems (no pun intended :P) long response but i hope that helped good Luck!

    Tactix
