He has improved so much over the course of his career and I think in this video we can see how much his efforts have helped. He holds that long note so powerfully, he's right on time and tune with most parts and he's absolutely fantastic. If you practice enough, you do get better. I've been in chorus three years now and it's conditioned my voice, so it works on anyone (: Taemin is amazing. He's not even my bias but I love him<3

I think Jonghyun's injury just after Minho's injury is really fishy, I mean it can be real as it can be false, they could have made it on purpose so Taemin could sing more on stage , I think if it was the case, Jonghyun was a bit left out

I think Taemin was always good vocally but he just didn't get much exposure vocal-wise. At least compared to Jonghyun and Onew. But Jonghyun's injury gave a chance for Taemin to "show off" his awesome vocals so i guess it was sort of a blessing in disguise? :D

Well, as you said, his voice is really sweet and soothing and it has always been that way but he didn't seem to control it properly and sang almost ...out of tune ! ^^ Here his voice is much more powerful than what we got accustomed to, that's why we all were kinda taken aback ! I think u are right, maybe his shyness had something to do with it !
