  • Fascinating video!

  • i didnt understand the ending cause i was skipping a bit, the cop left the paper bird how u call it in his apartment? y?

  • Thankyou

  • i put that through google translate and recon i understood it more when it was german!

  • schnittstellen die entfernt wurden , wie immer bien so einer production werden tonenweise material als untauglich gekentzeichnet von der redaction, was nicht unweigerlich bedeutet das dies auch der fall sein muss.

  • Nexxus 6 anime studios returning to earth only to be hunted by blade runnner anime studios makes for some fine doll action!

  • A REMAKE OF THIS IS SOMETHING THAT HOLLYWOOD WILL EVENTUALLY ATTEMPT. (IF THERE ARE NO MORE ANIMALS, THEN WHAT KIND OF FOOD ARE THEY EATING?) SYNTHETIC FOOD

  • Superb editing of Scott's imagery and use of vangelis. RESPECT.

  • yes, its called the white dragon cut and also includes many scenes made by the author `white dragon`. search him on youtube under the alias kazuchoice.

  • Is there a version of bladerunner with all the scenes. i mean no final cut. just all the scenes implemented??

  • bit of both, but mainly the extras.

  • Were these scenes added to the new version of the film or are they just added extras on a bonus disc?

  • increible film atmosfera impresionante best film sci-fi ever

  • This movie does not need a sequel like the works of richard wargner nor the thought of leonardo or other life like that of Adolf hitler.esta movie is a masterpiece and must remain so, a greeting

  • the name of the song is Los Angeles november 2019 composer vangelis sountrack Blade Runner

  • So does anybody know the name of the song?

  • "Rachel's Song"

For some reason they never used it in the film. I used a high-pitched version in one of my videos, lol

  • vangelis was not allowed to put it in the soundtrack..marketing shit

  • I was wondering why Rachel's Song was missing from the movie ... if true, that's shit!

  • to below.. i agree

  • ПОтрясающая музыка!!!

  • That's just what I was about to say.

  • Scott has mentioned the possibility of a sequel recently. I hope so. It really could be beautiful if they kept the same mood and settled only for top notch actors. Also they could include Juliane Hough as a dancing replicant beauty. (she is "unreal" already) Obviously the primary bad guy would have to be played by Dick Cheney. That way the final scene could be done without special effects. Just snuff the f*cker!

  • I used to be excited by the idea of a sequel, but the more I think about it, the more I feel that a sequel would be a disappointment. It would get focus-grouped to death. And if they based it on that piece of crap "The Edge of Human" novel, we'd be royally screwed. Possibly the most inconsistent sequel I've ever had the displeasure to read.

  • According to Bladezone, Father was used in one of the sneak previews, but was then used on the US home video market/Cable tv.

In the UK, the word was cut altogether, but later replaced in recent years.

Having Rutger say "Father" brings a totally new dimension to the scene altogether, and certainly gets my vote.

  • he DID say " I want more life FUCKER on the old version i have... i watched this film an unhealthy nimber of times, and listened to the soundtrack even more... pity there isn't more SF this mature.... guess it just costs too much ...and it sells no toys.

  • I remember in about 1983-1984, I used to watch this on cable everytime I could. My favorite line was "I want more life, Fucker." Years later when I got the movie on VHS, I found that it had been re-edited and moved to a different spot in the scene. I was pissed. It was perfect exactly where it was! Now, I believe they even have him saying "I want more life, Father."

    WHAT THE HELL???!!!

  • he never said "fucker", moron.

  • Wanna bet, Freshpants number three?

Keep it up with the name-calling. It makes you seem more intelligent. You'll make Freshpants second-class someday I'm sure!

I'm going to ignore you now, because unlike you, I have a life, fucker!

  • Just so you don't further embarrass yourself in the future, do a simple google search and learn something.

Hell, you can even search here on youtube.

    Find it?

I bet your pants ain't smelling so fresh now, huh moron?

  • Oh, and just incase you lack the mental capacity to ascertain the humor in my comment, please allow me to elucidate for you:

Your name is Freshpants3, thus implying there are two Freshpants ranked ahead of you.

My assumption that your pants are no longer fresh smelling is due to the predication that you literally SHIT yourself when you realized what an idiotic statement you'd made.

(Incase you still don't get it-shit stinks.)

  • TYRELL: Would you like to be modified? BATTY: Had in mind something a little more radical.

TYRELL: What's the problem? BATTY: Death.

TYRELL: I'm afraid that's a little out of my... Batty cuts in with a whisper.

BATTY: I want more life, fucker!

From the original July 24, 1980 Blade Runner Script: scribble(.)com/uwi/br/script_19800724(.)txt

  • very good, but hauer was instructed to make a combination of fucker and father... so everyone's a winner!

  • dude if u would of watched attak of the show they would explain why

  • One of the most telling deleted scenes is on the rooftop at the film's climax when Gaff says "You've done a man's job...but are you sure you're a man?"

  • one of the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-))))))))))

  • i have it on authority that the extras disc will be 16:9 just like the film is.

stay tunes for a better version ppl

  • Fantastic movie

  • you may not think this is a masterpiece, but as someone deeply influenced by al of the bladerunner themes, i thought your piece both deeply moving and succinct.

should there be ever be a sequel by other than RIdley- i'd hope that he's have your hand with the emotional context.

    thank you

  • i fully intend to revisit this when the box set comes out with extra footage!

  • I just heard that Ridley Scott is going to direct the Disney's Starblazers (Space Battleship Yamato) movie for his next film! Cool, hunh?

  • my god he lloks like that bloke out of equilibrium , dupont

  • Vangelis is releasing a 3 disc special edition this xmas. It will contain the original 1994 version, another disc of content not used, and the 3rd disc is ultra rare music not used nor heard b4. stay tuned.

  • Hey, what's the name of that song playing towards the end of the video, and is that only available in the workprint of the film?

  • racheals song. as i recall, its from either the gongo discs or vangelis personal collection.

  • HOLY SHIT, how did you get the footage of the death sequence, that was mint should have kept it

  • wait till you find out deckard had a wife on the off-world colonies..

  • Really? cooool, How do you know this dude?

  • He was married in the book, but then there were a whole lot of differences between the book and movie.

  • oh okay I maight read it thanks

  • It is hard to imagine, because nothing can top "Blade Runner." Period.

A remake, or a sequel would just suck ass. That's just a fact. And that is why they haven't even attempted to remake this masterpiece. The same goes for "2001: A Space Odyysey."

  • Well they did a sequel to 2001 and I guess the fact that you have not heard of it pretty much speaks for itself.

  • Yes I believe it was 2010 a space Odesssy with Roy Sheider and Helen Mirren. Ok movie but wasn't the groundbreaker of 2001 by any means.

  • Hey Transformers, theres a couple of paperback sequels 'Replicant Night' & 'The Edge of Human' (novels by K.W. Jeter) that would potentially be the basis of a film that would 'better' the Ridley Scott classic. A film or hopefully 2 films that could be made sometime please God : which could top the remake unseating Ridleys production at least for a brief period of time as the new classic.

Now thats not too hard to imagine was it?

  • Hey Ian

the only problem is that holly wood execs would fuck up that great idea and fill it with music and too much digital like they did in 300. those pricks lack even a grain of sand's worth of imagination.

  • I wholly agree. Star Wars was in the infancy of CG when they made the first/last three films and in MHO, it was ruined by poor CG. The best part of this film was the set design and soulfulness of the story and music. The financers of a new Bladerunner would not let Ridley Scott or whoever was to take up this kind of project do it properly. It would take time. Lots of time. And lots of money.

  • I agree with you man. With todays effects more is possible. So if a great script got made and the producers hired a great visionary director, a potentially better sequel could be made. Just that no-one has the balls to tamper with such a wonderful first film and story.

  • Why would we want a remake?? Are you stupid??

  • No, No They Don't.

  • there is an extended batty/elevator scene that includes the tyrell/sebastian kill scene and then an extended batty/elevator scene. top quality that will be worth the wait.

  • So i guess they didn't made a scene where J.F Sebastain gets killed.

  • This will be released in the multi-disc version that includes the extra violence. my guess is that it will be in the FC.

  • They should've kept the full Tyrrell death sequence.

  • Tyrrel's death must be one of the most grusome murders in cinematic history. I'm no softie, but the live skull crushing tarnishes an otherwise brilliant film, IMHO.

  • I understand, but how do you think Roy could have killed him otherwise? It sucks about J.F. dying too, he was cool.

  • It'll probably be in the workprint. :)

  • nice cut by the way. the music at the end is a vangelis track,g "Rachels Son" from esper and original blade runner soundtrack. Not used in director's cut or original and probably neither versions till this day. When i first heard found the score in my early teens i thought it was amazing and moving. Always wishing there was a scene with it. I really hope they use it in some form in the Final Cut. Dec 18.

  • It's an unreleased Vangelis track called Racheal's song. Dont quote me, but I believe it was from the Esper CD.

  • What is that song at the end?? :)

  • Great work m8!

  • well, the BR-Final Cut is just around the corner. this is a video originally posted on Bladezone last year. Its not a video masterpiece, infact it was originally a private project for myself to get to grips with adobe premiere. after scanning the net and taking clips from the workprint, i then placed them together and added the music score. checkout the racheals music score near the end that fits the video of her playing the piano.

  • Ah! Adobe Premiere...good choice, sire! Though I used to use Avid, then Discreet *Logic system, I dig Premiere. Thanks for the compilation! After watching Renaissance, I needed a fix on my favorite future noir. :-)

  • Pretty good! Though I'm pretty sure your last couple of shots are not from the Blade Runner film or even made for it, but from a LightWave animation made more recently. I fondly remember that Lightwave 5 came with a demo scene of a Spinner and part of the Blade Runner LA. Much fun to be had for a BR fan like me...

Otherwise I enjoyed your video a lot. :-)
