That was REALLY good for someone who could play by ear. I've tried for the longest time but I eventually gave up trying to do that for this song. But then I DID find the sheet music. I'm just not quite sure how accurate it is, tho...

you have very good ear training. Even though i stopped at a higher grade than you. Your ear training is MUCH BETTER than me. I wish i had your talents. Were you experimenting with the keys trying to find the tune?

tks for your comment. before i started playing by ear i also envy those who can play by ear. i never knew i can do it until i tried it out. yup, initially i was experimenting with the keys then it became easier as you practise more. get the right hand melody first then slowly add in the left hand key in ways that you would like it to sound eg: either arpeggio stle or chords style.
