I'm surprised to have found this! It turns out that the guy who my wife and I asked to perform our wedding ceremony was the recorder of this show at the now long gone original Salt Palace here in S.L.C., Utah. He was somewhat of a surrogate father to her during her teens. He is a great person and still travels the western U.S. recording shows. I love hearing his excited hoots and hollers in the background of this show when I hear it.

Yea...I was there at this concert. From my seat I could see entire stage + entire backstage too. Band members would occasionally poke their heads out of dressing room before show began.

I sneaked in a portable cassette recorder and taped the whole thing.

I recall Plant being very arrogant and somewhat rude to the SLC audience.

Utah audiences are (or were) different from California audiences.

Led Zep was NOT my favorite concert at the old -- now demolished - Salt Palace.

Salt Lake City. I have the bootleg. Jimmy broke a string and they were filling time. My buddy was there and said that Robert Plant was wearing Joe Namath #12 jersey. They were on there way to Cailforia to continue there tour. Way to bad they didn't finish the song!
