  • Listen up, stop fuckin' arguing and start training!!!!!

  • i hate doing rolls like this, everyone you do em to has to be a dick and post their arm out... then they fall on top of you

  • Very nice, but the title of the video is misleading.

  • Keep training hard!

  • Bujinkan you say? Why sir, those gents there look awfully lot like judokas: being dressed in adidas judo gi's and performing a judo throw.

  • @electronikita Unbelievable as it sounds, a person may learn Ninjutsu and Judo at the same lifetime.

    Go figure..

  • @ninjalla Unbelivable as it sounds but passing one art as the other is incredibly douchbagy ....Go figure...

  • @electronikita Unbelievable as this sounds one can have a black belt in Judo and Ninjutsu.... even more incredible... one can want to document both these arts in a wiki... free... even more.. listen up.. this is rich... one can even omit mentioning one's name because the technique is what's important....

UNBELIEVABLE... ONE CAN CLEAR TIME TO ANSWER DUMB REPLIES IN yOUTUBE, IN ALLCUPS....

Unbelievable it is, or should I say: Inconceivable..

  • @electronikita there are no black judogi's, only white and blue. In bujinkan however, they do use black gi's.

  • @WeAintSurePal Don't wanna be rude but google before posting, I rolled with guys wearing all sorts of gi's, shit my old instructor's wife would roll in kick as pink gi even.

  • @electronikita I suppose then that you didn't train judo, am I right? What I'm saying is that in judo, the only allowed colours on the gi's are blue and white, when there are other martial arts that allow other colours...

  • @electronikita To my knowledge this has lineage to Doron Navon who went on from the Bujinkan to form Feldenkrais which is a judo system AFAIK. I would gather that may explain a bit

  • @electronikita does it matter what they're dressed in? If I walk the streets, do you see what grade I am in what art? Clothing doesn't matter...training and wisdom does!!! By the way: from a certain rank the different budo lines come together. It's pretty normal that some judo throws are applied in ninjutsu or other 'non-throwing' diciplines after a fair amount of training. Personally I often train Kobujutsu with my Shureido Karate gi, just because it gives me more room to move...

  • is this part of hikkomi waza?

  • that is a no bullshit throw.

I can't imagine that not working

  • yoko guruma is with the leg going through between uke's legs and tori lands on his side;

yoko otoshi is a different direction and placement of tori in relation to uke.

however, with uke's hand being driven up between his legs, this is often described as hikomi gaeshi ( see kashiwazaki's book Fighting Judo)

  • this isn't a yoko-guruma, this is yoko-otoshi

  • I am not sure about that.

What do you reckon is the difference?

  • Let me explain: at the yoko-guruma you need to use the both of your legs, but at the yoko-otoshi you use only one leg, like he did...it works like a barricade, this isn't a very big difference but they are two different techniques!

  • In yoko-guruma, one of tori's legs goes between uke's legs. In yoko-otoshi, neither leg goes between ukes legs. The direction of the throw is different as well - if this were yoko-otoshi, uke would have gone more to the side, rather than straight over tori.

Basically, if anything, this is yoko-guruma, not yoko-otoshi, so ignore the guy who said it was yoko-otoshi.

  • @d19t85 thanks

  • @Abukodonozo yoko otoshi is done by placing the leg at the side of uke's and then dropping your weight. yoko guruma is done by placing your leg BETWEEN uke's and then wheeling them over your head.

  • @Abukodonozo, I Beleive Yoko -Otoshi is more in the outer side of the leg. here he is doing the technique from the inside. I might be wrong.

  • @Abukodonozo This is not Yoko Otoshi, When doing Yoko Otoshi Tori's leg flicks the Uke's leg, In Yoko Guruma (As shown in this video) Tori's leg sweeps between Uke's leg in a Pendulum Motion. It is a very subtle difference.

  • do you have U.S. representation....??? I am "ex-Bujinkan" Shodan.I teach goshin jujutsu that i encorporate a lot of taijutsu into without the name-sake.

  • You can find more about our school if you search google for "akban" and search our web site.

Unfortunately google doesn't allow direct links in replies.

  • Real nice technique....are you guys bujunkan? or a split off? good stuff regardless. I am just curious.

  • We train using the Bujinkan syllabus, but we are augmenting it with staff from related disciplines.

  • Haha omg, cool that? Thats "c00l" cuz they wear blue&black kimonos, aswell as black belts! And the technic is quite spectacualar.

Uke doesnt know a shit about Ukemi, he even doesnt hit-floor at throws and dont stand up property after kake's done. Pathetic

  • Hmmm...

Thank you for your comment, we'll try to improve the video of this technique.

  • @arkanaarkanias kimono? kake? what are you talking about?

i think you mean gi and tori, but then again im not a 9 dan like you.

  • cool

  • Thanks, all our videos are part of the AKBAN organization project, a project aiming to make the worlds first martial arts encyclopedia.

You can google akban-wiki and then search for judo. you'll see how much was done and what huge amount of work is still ahead of us.

  • all your vids are great. Some people get in front of the camera and start talking. That's not needed because of the rewind button. You do great throws and show many veriations in a short time. I can rewind over and over again and learn a lot.
