  • They play this with the musicality if someone years older than them. Don't listen to what these people are saying. You two are AMAZING!!!

  • Great work ladies!

  • what mistakes? i only found one when she missed the entrance, is there more? am I that badly tone deaf that I can't tell...?

  • @swimmerfreak0

Valerie: you probably already know this but now is the time to learn how to ignore the silly people of this world ; )

  • Valerie is a smart kid, watching her sister's back like that.

  • out of tune -_-

  • OMG, Dominique is soo smart that she covers up the mistakes that valerie had!!how many years old was dominique at that time?

  • very slow, but ok

  • woow the pianist is rlly good =] nice jobb

  • the pianist is very good and she covered up all her sister's mistakes... good job.

  • Yes.

  • WOW!! that was the slowest beginning I ever heard and OUT OF TUNE!!! nice to have sisters playing...

  • Watch the fast parts, they are sometimes not clear and we lose track of some notes. May be it can be due to the audio quality of the video. Also, work on the chords, some of those are slightly out of tone. But overall it's a very good performance!!

  • AW CMON! TOO SLOW!

    I GUNA FEEL ASLEEP

  • It's not slow, only at the beginning.

  • Wow...I'm speechless...that was incredible....keep at it. Imagine what you can be doing in a few years :)

    Loved it =]]]

  • i wanna know the inside joke! lol

  • wow ... all of you people need to except the fact that she is 9 years old and she is significantly better than all of you then you were at this age... I did not learn the Lalo until i was 16 and she plays better than most high school kids... thumbs up. Keep playing

  • I can second your comment, of course if I too had begun music at an early age, I could only imagine where I'd be at now.

I live in Las Vegas; what is here? Could you possibly tell me?

We have some of the most amazing musicians raised from here. I see plenty of little kids playing all this and more as well as she does. I won't say much about this piece because I HAVE NOT played it. It is not something I want to study right now, or necessary to. But I have studied a lot more. She's good. I know

  • Nice performance!

  • wow... not only is it slow, but out of tune. But I have to give you thumbs up for your bow usage.

One of your even more poorer videos, but good effort.

  • Slow? out of tune?

Quite perfectly in tune and to tempo for a 9 y.o. prodigy, in this piece, and when played with feeling like here.

  • No, it is not quite perfectly in tune because I have a keen ear to whether the note is sharp or flat. And there are many spots where it turns sharp more frequent then flat.

And to be honest, it was mainly the beginning that was too slow for my taste.

  • I also have a keen ear.

I would agree with you many things, if this was Heifetz in his prime.

  • ha! sajauca!

  • Muy bien, me gusto, felicidades.

  • Good cover by Dominique for the missed entrance!!

  • Dominique seemed to realize a second or two earlier what was going to happen.

  • MUCH better playing than a year ago

  • a lot of slides... which makes it sound unprofessional. also a lot of intonation issues... too slow for a performance tempo. fairly good job though

  • Dude, I totally agree. I played this piece much faster, off the string on some parts, but other wise, it's pretty good

  • thank you! someone who agrees w. me :) haha

it's good, but can be perfected =]

  • In fact this piece is a very too slow. Also, by slowing it this way, they lose all the musicality and the spanish style of it.

  • I mean a few of the notes were slow, but it's not like it sounds Largo! Also, exellent playing, Valerie

  • i mean it's very good for her age...dont get me wrong, but i've heard many recordings that were played with a faster tempo :) i think it would make it easier to be musical and it would bring the whole performance up several notches! ;)

  • i totally agree with you but it seems like whoever is reading is not liking the negative comments.... it is really slow and lots of out of tune notes! But she has style though and good future, it is not an easy song but can be much better!

  • so what happened? valarie didnt come in on time wake up homie

  • so much passion...

  • Pretty good to be able to play this complex piece while being so young. Although, I must say, the intonation is not too good. (especially the slide in the beginning in the song)

  • hahah entrance/s

    great!

  • AHH I LOVE HER

  • i dont get the joke thingy...

  • hahahahaha ! :D

  • i dun get the big sister revenge thing could u explain it plz!!!

  • absolute perfection.

bravo to both of you girls!

  • she is incredible! I love all the little dresses she wears!

  • My Favorite Violin piece of yours so far...can't wait to hear your next performance!

  • hahha. nice coverup with the second entrance big sister. hahaha

  • That's the inside joke reference. :-)

Big sister wasn't doing her any favors.

  • but that's so nice ;)

  • Thank you both once again for a superb performance. Greatly enjoyed by us all. We love to hear your music - it really is appreciated.

  • Excellent interpretation and beautiful phrasinf. She is better than most people I heard these days, espcially considering her age. It's outstanding compared to some long time players. Acturally, Yaudi Menuhin's recording was done when he was 18. look at her! So tiny and Spectacular!!!!

  • wonderful performance! -greetings from Peter in Korea

  • Both girls are growing up so fast, both physically and musically. It's amazing how much feeling they put into their performances, compared to the many human-machines that the professional "studios" crank out nowadays.

  • BRAVO! You amaze us every time with your playing. Brilliant and you play with such good technique and emotion. My mom thinks you will become a famous violinist one day... she has great hopes for you. We love you!

  • hm... i'm 19. playing the same song. i feel so inadequate. haha. great job!
