  • The bottle exercise is brilliant. I love props that help with muscle memory and that's a good one !

  • Really great! I am going to teach my second grade students tutting and I am sure that they will outpace me quickly, but I am using you as my secret weapon. Thanks!

  • @bortiepie Awesome! Thanks for checkin' out my video!

  • He was born with swag. He doesn't even need ta turn it on.

  • Ima gonna try that pencil exercise if it helps me turn the swag on :)

  • That pencil exercise is genius. Thanks for the tip

  • @HO1ySh33t All good, man. Thanks for watching!

  • I no sum stuff but I wana do different moves I do the same move but put them in different was

  • @skateboard452 I got a new tutorial for that coming soon....like this week soon!

  • Lmao @PhantomSergeant xD so Tru

  • He tells me to do these exercises, but subliminally, his biceps and triceps tells me to do push-ups.

  • question: how long was it between the first time you tried this out and when you were reasonably fluent with tutting? and also, is it possible for a white person to do this? i'm about 3 weeks into waving/popping/gliding/tutting (no experience in any of these) and all i can do so far is copy people's moves.

and btw, thank god for a tutorial that is straight forward yet explained enough to be useful. those are hard to come by. and 99 tuts was sick as hell.

  • @ben567567 Thank you so much, homie! My advise to you startin out is to copy and see what you like since your a beginner. Practice other people's moves to learn what your naturally good at. Once you feel comfortable in a style(s), start dancing to the music. As you grow you'll learn how to branch off and be yourself.

** I started tuttin in 2008, and I was TERRIBLE, lol. I felt comfortable by then end of that year. Just stick to it, you'll get it.

  • I'm double jointed on my fingers, and when I try to roll up the pencil with only the pinky, my ring finger double joints. Is there a way I can fix it?

  • hey dude. just wanna ask you how many months/years for to learn how to tut?

  • I will try

  • i play basketball...

if my wrists loosen wont it affect my dribbling or shooting

    BTW great video

  • @MLGassasin0o0 I don't think so. My shot actually got BETTER from tutting, #LOL

  • bro you r a mint as teacher i can tuttu now!

  • lol that beginning was funny

  • Thank that helped alot :)

  • Finaly somebody who helps with getting the angles thanks man

  • i love you man! <3

  • I need help a long long time ago like 7 months ago I got mad and i punched the wall like crazy times and my hand was bleeding mainly my middle knuckle and I was still punching. When it healed I can't make a 90 degrees with my right hand cause the middle finger is making a 45 degrees and it holds back all my other fingers.

  • lol my i broke my fuckn hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks alot for the videos. I absolutely loved the bottle test, I thought it was pretty funny. I don't have a problem with doing the angles. I am new to tutting so my problem is keeping the angles. I just tried the bottle test and am having a hard time keeping it from falling. Great tip! I like learning the basics of anything I am doing it and making sure that it is top notch before advancing, especially in dance.

  • @cumensu The bottle test may be flawed. People say I can only do it because I have muscles... -___- #LOL. A few other people I know can do it just fine tho! Haha. Anyway, I'm glad the videos help. Thanks for leaving feedback!

  • @thaSMIZofESV, I will keep trying the bottle test before I can say for sure it is flawed. Like any conclusion you make you have to test it out many times. But if that person is right that you need muscles maybe thats why it isn't working for me because I have no muscles.

  • Awesome! Glad it helped!

  • thank you this really helped!

  • Haha your videos are funny as fuck brotha

  • Oh sweet Jesus. I've been trying to figure out how to get my wrist to bend backwards for months now. I was contemplating the use of a hammer, but now I don't have to. Thanks, Bro-slice.

  • @armex8 Thank you! Check out my 2nd channel for all my freestyles and choreo!

  • The Disliker...is a duck lover

  • rofl .. hello. good vid bro keep it up

  • @YaBoiTezz #LMAO thanks, patna!

  • you have a great attitude luv the vids!!

  • @hanneesh Thank you!

  • @thaSMIZofESV Good info, but that thing about the bottle isn't true. No offense, yuhr just swole, that is why you can do that

  • @mbua1 LoL. Thanks. Did you flex w/ the bottle? I have a skinny friend that can hold the bottle....but then again, you're probably right!

  • you awesome man, thanks for taking your time to do these great tutorials....:)

  • @hoangminh1012 Thank YOU for watching and commenting!

  • dammmmnn!!! u look exactly like chris tucker, and btw nice tutting man, im egyptian and i can see that u got the moves man... :))

  • @AHMEDELSHIHY LoL. Thanks

  • yu looks like Chris Tucker .

  • lol...turn my swag on.... another good tutorial....

  • I'm all about the dope crazy stuff, man... good shit

  • Thanks alot my Fellow Darkskin bruva lmfao ,

I started watchin your tuttin tutorials & Fingers months ago ,

My shits are up there you dont be NY ? Lml ,

  • @TuttinKingFLEX Dark Brothas Unite! Haha! Man, those cats in NY are SERIOUS on the tutting & connect game. I wanna go out there tho!

  • fkn funny beginning LMFAO XD

  • Thanksss sooo much. The only problem i have is my ring finger and pinky finger when i try the pencil roll, it doesn't work...

  • Thank you so much :) I just recently started learning tutting and my main problem is that i can only bend my wrist back to about 45 degrees. I'v been doing these exercises for a while and it's getting better :) I have one question (I know it's probably stupid and you probably won't be able to answer it :D): How long can it take me to go from 45 degrees to 90 degrees? (if I do these exercises let's say twice a day) Once more, thanks a lot, you really helped me :)

  • @Shonzeppelin I'm glad the tutorials helped! Give it a good solid month, and I'm sure you'll see the difference. You may even see a change in a few short weeks!

  • @thaSMIZofESV great :) and once more, thanks :) I also find your tutorials and other videos very helpful :) keep up the good work ;)

  • thanx homie you helped me in my most needed area...ii cant connect and all dat but ii would get so mad cuss ii couldnt get my hand in a 90 degree angle....so once again thax for da help......

  • @krazyk11234 Thanks for the feedback! Just take it slow and make tutting work for YOU.

  • Thanks for the help but there is a problem. When I try to hold the pencil with my pinky , my other fingers bended too!

  • @HazziTate Actually, that's natural. Use your other hand and try to hold the finger back so they'll be straight. After a while those muscles will become independent .

  • @thaSMIZofESV Oh ok Thanks :)

  • thanks for helping me excercise my hand lol i actually didnt realize how stiff my fingers were until i did the pencil press!

  • @yaguhsponge It's all good man! Thanks for the feedback. Loose fingers make good waves too!

  • Yo thanks yo I was looking for something to help get my hands at them perfect angles... I'ma work on this joint for a couple weeks or so to see if anything changes

  • @CenteSuave Sounds good. Keep me updated on the progress!

  • @thaSMIZofESV hi, is there any other exercises for the fingers?? im having trouble with the ring finger

  • @XxDARFxX Have you tried finger fitness?

  • @thaSMIZofESV ok cool cheers,i will go check it out! you are really good at dancing, how long you been dancing for?? ive been dancing for maybe 8 months but im very stamdard

  • @XxDARFxX Yeah, just YouTube search "Finger Fitness". It's pretty crazy! This Oct. will be 3 yrs total for me.

  • @thaSMIZofESV oh nice, if i send you a vid could you tell me where im going wrong or where i could improve?? keep up your good work

  • @XxDARFxX Yeah man! I'd be glad to!

  • A good test is making sure your elbow and your shoulder is at the same level.

  • Ummmm I tried the water bottle test, and it doesn't work. If you look closely it's your big bicep thats making the groove deeper keeping the bottle in place and I don't have big biceps, I'm skinny so the bottle just fell off LOL

  • it's normal to have difficulties to pull up the ring finger at the beginning?

  • @Springulaiz Yess! That's one of the toughest finger to make obey. Just keep stretching those hands, they'll get limber! =]

  • @thaSMIZofESV You've helped me a lot! thanks thanks thanks!

  • this is really good info thanx, u got some real talent aswell :)

  • @LiamBreccini2010 Thank you!

  • class! just what i was lookin for!

  • @MrDontae14 Check my videos. I am a Popper and I do anything associated with it. Robotics, Strobing, Waving, Animation, Tutting- etc.

  • how long will it take for your hand to go back

  • @MrDontae14 It's a lil different for everyone, just take your time with it and practice the basic angles until your wrist become limber enough to get the angles you want.

  • damn, ur tutting theory is killer bro!

  • @jamessmannn Thank you!

  • Thank you SO much sir. I'm doing a How-To presentation on tutting, and this video just gave me a new subtopic. This is very helpful :]

  • @stuckinptown Awesome! Glad I could help =]!

  • Ohh, okay okay. Thankies. :)

  • For how many minutes should I be doing the wall presses sir? :D

And the pencil and bottle thingys? :D

    Estimate? :D

  • @walangyaan Just until you feel comfortable, and you feel like your wrists have had a good stretch. I usually do it for a min. total

  • Really? XD Scary. :D For how many minutes should I do the wall presses? :D

  • How many days should I be doing those exercises? XD Estimate? XD

  • Thanks sir. :D I'd be doing those exercises. :D Iwanna learn how to TUT! :D

  • @walangyaan Thanks for commenting! =]

  • @walangyaan Do them everyday. You'll see a difference in a week. Your wrists will be sore too =]

  • Yo no joke, that water bottle thing don't work if you don't got biceps. LOL

  • thx man!! i really lookin for tuts like this!! hope u post more tutorials n tips!!

  • These tips are just ace. I'd love to do those pencil presses in the gym, right next to the big boys doing the bench presses! ;o)

  • @StEvE1961able Haha, that'd be awesome! They'd be so jealous.

  • Um, don't you need to have bulging biceps in order to hold that water bottle in place...*giggle*??

  • @Thinknappythoughts Shh! LoL.

  • when r u posting the 99 tuts of death

  • @yafashionqueen Its coming! =] Sooner than you all may think........ muhuhahaha [evil laugh]

  • pause... that really workz?? = o cause i ded can't bend my hand backwards lolz

  • Cool!

Ummm got a new video up! Check it out! It's labeled "Nik - The Other Guy #2".

  • thx for the reply to my question, one more thing i gotta ask: is puzzling different from tutting?, just asking cuz i wasn't sure what the real difference was, i dnt wanna say something in a convo without being absolutely sure XD

  • @Order6600 HONESTLY, I think the uneducated people called tutting "puzzlin". Just like the people who call me a "poplocker" because I'm popping my muscles then I "lock" when I stop...yeah. Those people LoL

  • Mad awesome.

    Damn it's so hard though.

    Must practice. :)
