This song is SO under-rated: everyone loves "You're the Best" instead. Admittedly that song was masterfully used in the tournament, but this was THE real song of the movie, written by Bill Conti and worked heavily into the instrumental score.

But, does anyone notice that the released version isn't the same one that they used in the movie? The vocals clearly have different inflections.....

I think it's the same with "Can you feel the night" when Daniel and Ali is dating. In the moive the song is a duet. Baxter Robertson is the male voice, don't know the female voice, but that verison was never released even in the soundtrack (sadly enough).

The soundtrack, as released, is a disappointment; I find myself collecting different versions, in order to compile them together on iTunes.

I love 2:38-2:52. Daniel has no chance of getting away then the video appears to be edited so Daniel is being beaten to the beat of the song

I wish Miyagi was my sensei, actually its between him or Street Fighter 4 character Ryu´s master "Gouken".

@MrWweytnafan I'd go with Miyagi. I mean, Gouken can make you shoot energy balls from your palms, but Miyagi will give you a yellow 1948 Ford Super DeLuxe Club convertible. There really isn't anything to think about xD

But when i met Gouken in the game his abilities was amazing!

And after i stop play at midnight and go to bed, i dream that Akuma attacks me and Gouken save me, just like he did with Ryu when he was a kid; and i was honored to be his student now that Ryu & Ken dont need him anymore now that there adults and well trained.

Besides his training begin by fixing his dojo, carring water from the river, it was like a combination of KK & my favorite: BLOODSPORT!

@MrWweytnafan I'd still go with the car. I mean... lots of training out in the woods, cut off from the world, and all you end up as is a guy who walks the Earth barefoooted. With Miyagi you get the carl, the girl, the trophy, a trip to Japan and another girl. I don't count the third one (hated it), but you get yet another trophy if you do. And if you go as far as Hillary Swank's Karate Kid, you'll get to meet a bunch of cool buddhist monks who can bowl better than Tim Mason xD Team Miyagi!! xD

@Anamchara Actually walk is good for me, and my training was like Frank Dux (Jean Claude Van Damme) of Bloodsport .

And my adventures will be like King of the Fighters, Street Fighter & Pokemon. Besides i got my own team: me, my cousin Emily & Sakura; students of the Anatsuken arts (well not Sakura, she learn by herself after watch Ryu in SFA) XD Team Gouken!

Oh, and i won my 1st young fighters Kumite; by beating Chenzo Toguchi (KK2) trained by Chong Li (Bloodsport) in the finals

SF 4 ever!

@MrWweytnafan I've got a team too... well IRL my girlfriend is a black belt 1st degree Tae Kwon Do, and I'm a black belt 3rd degree Kenpo-ka. My best friend used to train with me, but he quit before he got his black belt xD I wish my master was like Miyagi. He was a lot tougher (been training since I was a kid), and I didn't get a yellow Ford convertible T_T But I did get the trophy, and the girl (who won the first full contact tournament I won -age 18-, only in the female category) xD

Now that you mention your team, its like a mix of the Kim Kapwan & Takuma Sakazaki teams from King of the Fighters. The reasons are:

1. Your girfriend train Tae Kwon Do, just like Kim.

2.- Your Kenpo-ka its sounds similar like Kyokugen karate from Takuma, Ryo, Robert & Yuri.

3.- Your friend its like Robert & you are Ryo, so that means that your best friends and great fighters!

The only team i have to beware is Shadaloo, they are looking for me; my strengh its like Ryu´s lvl

1980s was an interesting decade. The music soundtracks were very good!

I love movies like Karate Kid along with Fast Times at Ridgmont High, Private School and back to future. There are many great films from the 1980s. The premise of many of these movies is similar today.

I really hate how when I want a dose of nostalgia and try to look up some Karate Kid vids, half of what is yielded is the lame remake with Will Smith's kid. Thank you modern Hollywood for ruining the franchise.

@seekur32 Ehh I enjoyed the remake more then I thought I would have. I just sat back and acted like it wasn't a remake, but a different story that gives props to The Karate Kid.

@seekur32 i agree, they should have brought back ralph macchio the guy did'nt look like he aged one bit. they can keep jackie chan in the movie as a tribute to pat morita, an they could have made the movie more ruff an rugged like the ufc or mma...that kid story bullshit was just lame lol

And in the premier, William Zabka and the rest of the Kobra Kai reunited again like in old times, but i dont know if they critic too after see there new remake actors, especially the "John Kresse" actor because the 56 years old actor was there at the premier.
