I knew Tibor in Venice Beach. I talked to him many times and he was an excellentLconversationalist and storyteller. He told me that Bela Lugosi shot at him one time and his easel saved him as he put it up it took the bullet. He told me that story several times and it would always begin with " Bela was crazy!". I was blessed to have known this extremely lovely man and talented artist.
