  • Regardless how anyone feels about a leader of a nation, NO ONE has the right put their hands on anyone else...I hope those ugly ape-looking scums got thrown into jail for their primitive behaviour.

  • JOHN KEY YOU BUZZZY CUNT!

  • Key's a fucking dickhead

  • It's our land now - FUCK OFF BACK TO THE COOK ISLANDS!

  • thats funny-what the hell is Harawira's mother doing 'counselling' the man her son calls a 'Smiling Snake'?

  • I wish that guy actually knocked John Key the F**k Out. Kick this Asshole out of his Role as Prime Minister, he is Killing NZ and he doesnt even bother to ask what the General NZ Public think of his decisions. Just like the Petrol Company Petrobras. John Key: It will be a great Economic Benifit to our Country. He didnt even bother asking the Maori who have the rights to the Foreshore and Seabed. He didnt bother asking the NZ People if we would agree to this. Americas Oil Disaster with BP? WTF!

  • makes maori look like primitive animals.

  • John Key is killing NZL - Google 'Max Keiser' it follows the neo-right-wing philosophy.

  • @UltimateGuitarist17. In case you weren't aware, the welfare system was only introduced just over 30yrs ago by the labour govt. My grandmother who is now 74 started working when she was just 8yrs old.. my parents both started when they were 16! Maori have always been incredibly hard workers. Because of the stability it provides 4 todays generation they have never known the struggles their parents/grandparents went thru, like I said the welfare system is just another form of control & oppression.

  • In some ways you are right. I think the problem is a lot of Maori individuals do not appreciate what few opportunities they are given, such as free tertiary study & work experience. I blame it on the gang mentality that has assumed a very strong hold on our youth. When Maori migrated from rural areas to the cities, there was a shortage of employment readily available which gave rise to the gang scene, the effects from this are still evident 2day.. It's a mentality of no hope, that holds us back!

  • @UltimateGuitarist17 Let me just say that.. if your race was subjected to this kind of crap for the last 150yrs, wouldn't you also be compelled to seek the truth and understanding of how things ended up the way they have. Maori are not the only colonized indigenous culture who have an over representation in poor socio-economic statistics and general public opinion. It's a pattern seen all over the world with other indigenous/colonized races.. Native American and aboriginal to name but a few.

  • @UltimateGuitarist17. Have you been paying attention lately.. employment opportunities in this country are at an all time LOW!! Why do you think so many people, Maori and Pakeha, are moving to Australia?? No doubt, you'll soon be part of the huge exodus over the ditch one day. Crawl out from under your rock and wake up! It's not about race, it's inequality. What's language got 2do with anything, stop nit picking.. its pathetic! You finished your little hissy fit?? koz I'm ova it. Happy new year!

  • Anyway back to the topic in regards to this video, which is probably more worthwhile debating than the ignorant opinions of a few racially brain washed individuals. Although I'm not a National party supporter or a huge fan of John Key or all of his decisions.. You have to give props to the guy for running NZ, not the easiest of places considering our economic position especially in comparison to Aus. This incident was very disrespectful.

  • The negative Statistics are but a mere reflection of a suppressed culture and oppressed race. You obviously have no knowledge of the detrimental effects on low decile Socio-economic societies and communities. Get back to me when you stop repeating the mindless garbage of our racist maori bashing sheep population and actually have something of your own opinion and research that has at least some kind of substance for a proper intellectual debate!

  • @bmonz08 Please don't generlise us as a Maori bashing population. Not true. Not sure about suppressed culture or oppressed race, there is a lot of support for Maori, but they need more support from their peers, and to work for their benefits, any work paid or unpaid raises spirits and restores some pride, then we can address other issues. Calling them oppressd etc furthers the victim mentality. Not the way forward, we can't ignore the past, but we need to be educated to better deal with it.

  • BTW.. Money for treaty claims doesn't come from the Govt, it's compensation from the Maori assets that were lost during the land confiscations. Gosh how fukn gullible can you get!! Govt don't pull money out of their ass dum dum, it comes from NZ owned assets that were once Maori owned assets.. such as foresty, fisheries and water resources. You're so fukn gullible and naive, learn proper history dumb ass!

  • damb those niggers( black niggers )(really black)

  • you owe us rent mr prime minister

  • haha good on them two guys for grabbing that cunt i would cracked him a few times

  • Just shows how hopeless John Keys Security is...if it shows one thing John needs more P.I & Maori security then no-one would fuck with him then lol!!!

  • Oh pure beauty. Give our land back haha

  • @CommunistNewZealand haha nice

  • Comment removed

  • @UltimateGuitarist17.. Moriori and Maori both descend from the same bloodlines of Hawaiki. Yes Maori valued the new advances from the early voyagers of the north doesn't mean they appreciated being ripped off by way of illegal land confiscations and forced exile of entire communities. It would be more naive than ignorant to assume that you know more about our history than us.. we are the ones who lived/live through it, you and people like your father are but narrow minded spectators.

  • useless bodyguards

  • stuff Key, he's a delluded millionaire and he looks after the fat cats, that's the first priority for the fascist Natz party

  • Good on you John Key for keeping in going, As much as I dont like the National party in power, the radical Maori need to try a more educated approach to removing the National party from power.

  • I wish they fuckin killed the cunt ! Resist the NWO people!

    Kill all NWO puppet scum

  • haha mean "give our land back" haha choke the bastard

  • After what John Key's done I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. It's a shame that they were Maori because this fits the media's stereotype perfectly.

  • fucking black cunts always wanting everything for nothing

  • @eclipse9099 fuck you cunt you dont know the full story balhead

  • @sharrydoggz i know that 2 niggers attacked the PM and they are greedy filty black cunts

  • I sucked the smelly cock of John Key.

  • John Key has proven time and time again that he is a deceitful liar. Who cares if he gets shoved around, certainly not me.

  • man if this happened to the obama there will be sniper shots all around

  • fucking maoris are just way too whorey wankers

  • I do not know what country this is. If that guy did that to the President of the EU or the President of the European Commission he would be in enormous trouble.

  • @AncutaMerkel That's a sad fact of international politics. God bless New Zealand.

  • @AncutaMerkel yeah well this ain't the EU, I wish john key got his head smacked in.

  • hahaha good job peice of shit

  • Fuck John Key.

  • john keys a cunt

hes thinking about puting a youth rate up at 7 buks a fucking hour!

  • fucking maoris

  • @eclipse9099 fuck you then you white piece of shit

  • you can blame fucking english & fuckers like you for this mess... past english injustices finally coming into the future 2010.

  • @eclipse9099 , fuck my ass my gay white brother.

  • Stop listening to what the Pakeha thinks.

  • Good job. I'd love to assault him as well. It's a shame he had security guards with him. He should have gotten a good fucking hiding.

  • so what is the real issue behind these land claims and complaints about selling the resources? is it really a matter of principal? or is someone feeling like theyre missing out on some cash? I really dont think the maori party are for the maori people at all, but as long as they attend a couple of huis, and few golden hongis the people will follow them like lambs to the slaughter. Pathetic really, the true reasons of protesting are lost in translation.

  • The real issue is this: it is ours, we want it back. End of story.

Everyone knows that TMP doesnt represent all Maori, thats no secret. TMP get it the most from Maoridom btw, they rae the most scrutinized of all political parties among the people - Maori lambs are really hard to pull away from old loyalties. They expect full and exclusive attention and if you dont give it...cut.

  • Stand still darling, stand still, lol

  • If he had his cast on,he could have KO`d those retards!

  • Stupid Maoris. Key's security guards should have beat the shit out of them.

  • Fuck off you filthy racist.

  • I agree with one comment on this page, and that is that we should put politics behind us on this day and ALL pakeha and Maori celebrate Waitangi day as one or as a country that people all over the world envies.

I am Ngapuhi and I am from here. I spent my child hood growing up in this beautiful place, my father was on the board of Maori dignitaries from 1962 - 1978 when he retired.

  • wateva! Politics is my fave thing to talk about!! I talked about it all day on Waitangi Day!!

  • Hello Helenclarkfan24. I am also a fan of Helen. Don't think much of this years labour party though im almost inclined to swing my vote to blue on 2011

  • It doesnt matter if you like Politics or not, we should all just get the F' over ourselves and get along. Its not that hard, I dont know why 90% of people find it so hard to do.. I'm all for talking about the issues we face but when you look at it, these days theres very little need for politics. All it is, is either people who support the good ideas and people who oppose the good ideas, or who want the good ideas to be theirs..Its quite petty

  • Whatever their cause they just sabotage it doing shit like that. That's stone age behavior. Its 2009.

  • @brettv8 , Wrong. This is completely acceptable behavior in my book.

  • @insanelylogical Acceptable? Sure, who was that guy that tried to hit the VOTED PM? we all wanna punch a politician, granted. But it acheives nothing except a split second of satisfaction and admiration from losers who will never acheive sweet fuck all. You wanna shake the system up you gotta get educated, and NZ is the easy place to do it. Try that shit overseas the govt will bomb your village. Acting like a rock ape will never get you anywhwere, been there, done that, moved on.

  • bahahahahahahaha!!!!!! GOOD JOB!!! LOL

  • stupid right-wing hypocrite

  • Im a Kiwi living in London and this is the first ever year I've celebrated Waitangi day. It was awsome. Kiwi's, Maori and Pakeha celebrating together and having a good time!

  • dont undermind maoris like that .there just like everyother race .

  • But stupid..

  • that obama teeshirt seriously undermines his credibility.

    what a douche

  • Comment removed

  • id like to see some stats to back up that recklesss statement. the majority would have to be at least over 20,000. can you prove it?

  • Excuse me but the words and thoughts you portray here appear savagelike.

  • dont know where this no full blooded maori come from i know some with birth cert stating full blooded maori on both side that rumour always cracks me up

  • 60% of the prison inmates are maori which make up only about 15% of the New Zealand popularlation..

  • lol popularlation

  • u suck balls u fucken retard go back to school!!!!

  • nigger

  • @Mindbender66 yes but 60 %??? ful thats a lot, an obvious majority

  • Learn to spell first you idiot.

  • Fuck yea JK bad boii your the man!!

  • Shutup

  • Shutup your face.

  • *Sighs at the natives*

  • Racist much?

  • You can see by a lot of comments here that war is in the hearts of all mankind whether we like it or not. Because verbal violence comes from the heart and in a lot of cases is more damaging than physical violence. Just as well we have a good side in our hearts that we can draw on when we choose to. We have had no civil war in New Zealand and thats because the majority (and I say BIG majority) of us (Maori & Pakeha) choose to respect each other and to get along with each other.

  • Cowardly attack...

  • LMFAO HAHAHAHAHA SHAMEEE NIGG

  • I think the whole "warrior" culture from back in the days of the maori tribal wars is still embedded in many (definitly not all) of the maoris these days. Some of them just seem to be aggressive by nature. Theres too many "jake the muss" type men out there who try to solve everything with violence. e.g. the maoris in this video

  • Stupid niggers

  • wow raciest and NO Maori ain't Black Americans get it right!!

  • hey who u calling nigger u fuckwit !!!!

  • The idiot trying to punch our Primeminister

  • Were the Maori's not an honourable race before? What has happened to them? Why does the solution have to be intimidation and violence? Who is going to lend an ear to the Maori's if they behave like that?

  • What morons.

  • Why is our OWN national day the only day every year that I feel our country is so divided. Some people have totally given up on Waitangi celebrations which is really sad. I for one will not let these insignificant convicts ruin my national holiday. I hope these scums spend the rest of the year behind bars. These individuals are the problem. Stand your ground Kiwi's! The tables will turn eventually.. we will get our national holiday back!

  • Our national holiday is spoilt by the views of small minded maori who do not look at the bigger picture....You are only one person so who are you to say that you will not let insignificant convicts ruin your holiday.....Is that what our national day means to you a scabby day off work please there are greater issues than your stupid fucken day off.

  • & besides that how do you know they're convicts have you met these people personally or is it just an assumption.....Do you even really know what Waitangi day is all about....You've always had your nationally holiday dumb arse I'm just wondering whether you know the significance of it or are you just ignorant

  • Idiots like yourself would only try to defend these morons, who not only attacked our PM but made sure these actions of violence made headlines instead of the national celebrations that took place throughout Waitangi Day. Obviously you condoned what happened. These individuals are the reason why New Zealanders do not appreciate their national holiday... I will ignore them and continue my own celebrations...thats all I said you twat. Read my comment thoroughly before you comment dumbfuck.

  • Idiots like you who have absolutely no understanding of the national holiday would say an arrogant comment like that....Do you even know the meaning of WAITANGI DAY dumbarse go take a fucken history lesson bout NZ you fucken gonk only a slacker who does fuck all looks for a holiday on a special occasion for all kiwi's get a fucken grip 'n' if you don't like the comment don't fucken answer back

  • O shut up you dumb little kid. Waitangi Day is a day New Zealanders celebrate being New Zealanders, lol why are you so stupid to suss that out? Or do you see it merely as a day when protests should take place and violence breaking out. You're not worth my time so fuck you asshole.

    =P

  • Waitangi Day is only a day to celebrate being New Zealanders if you a) identify yourself as a NZer and b) recognize the Treaty as the only binding contract made between Maori and the Crown. Which some people do not, so it can be classed as a day of protest for some.

  • Just a bit of old fashioned man love!

  • Disgusting behaviour by 2 radicals, with no respect for our prime minister, broken arm and all! I would like to think that this does not represent the view of most Maori people.

I generally have great respect for the Maori people, and when travelling internationally I feel proud to be a New Zealander and associated with the great Maori people.

But these isolated incidents tarnish this reputation.

  • @dwnunder7 fucking niggers i say

  • lol leave hm

  • Mean Maori Mean

You wont bite him Niwaz! Hahaha

  • What are you doing on youtube then you old cunt.

  • chill out bro

  • Whatever unresolved stuff might need to be addressed, what good does violence achieve? This could be intepreted as disrespect for the treaty.....

p.s. I briefly met his predecessor in passing a couple of years ago

p.p.s he's the first prime minister who is younger than me.... (by about 9 months)

  • All I can say are these two mongrels are gutless cowards assaulting a man with a broken arm..Mr Key handled the whole situation remarkabley I felt.

  • Thats what they would love you to think....I reckon all western intellegence agencies (in countries with central banks anyway) are really the same people

  • lol nz secret service is a joke

  • lol

  • Happy Waitangi Day everyone - have to say though that if we didn't have good Maori and Pakeha people (and a contract)then everything may have been sold off to overseas investors by now :)

Have a good one in this blessed land of ours.

  • hey guys hope we can all put this behind us and just have a happy land stealing day!

  • lol

  • Happy Waitangi Day to all New Zealanders

    Arohanui

  • I get your hint :) I may have a peek then.

I am starting to take time these days to smell the roses along the way... lifes so much more enjoyable that way eh

  • Thats the spirit : ) lol

  • Yea an acquaintance of mine heard that first hand from a congressman in the US. That is that banks were encouraged to lend to subprime borrowers inferring the reasons why and that congress were not happy about it. Hey I just looked up Nexus magazine on the net. Sounds like an interesting read. I like the quote too. One thing though, man has the technology to travel to the planets but we still havent worked out what we are here on earth for lol

  • Lol ......"Oh well along the way take time to smell the flowers too" ; )

  • Nexus Magazine is Great!!! I've been reading it since my teens, most newsagents stock it...hint hint : )

  • Hey ceasegreedinessno I am glad tyou mentioned the Rockefellers, Rotheschilds and co. That is the real big picture of what is happening right now in the world. I beleive that the world economic crisis has been contrived by these and other investment bankers (yes money was pushed onto banks to lend to subprime type borrowers) and for good reason. They get rich cos when $ are printed rapidly each day under the guise of bail outs. The $ devalues but months ealier they shifted from $ to commodities.

  • Hey davesakiwi Yeah Its real sad to know that we are all embroiled in this Gigantic Ponzi scheme....If these Puppet Masters had a change of heart, they could turn our planet into a paradise overnight and send Mankind to the Stars (that was a quote I read in the Editorial of the latest Nexus Magazine just this afternoon)...

  • The welfare system dished out to Maori people has a lot to answer for. It has created most of the problems that you talk about. Thank God that we do have a welfare system in this country but the reality of it is that long term it leaves people feeling useless and stuck in a rut. In any country, those sections of the community tend to have the highest rates of crime and abuse. Who was it that said "idle hands make misschief?" Also a lack of self confidence. They are addressing these things now.

  • torqueingheads and others with this mentality obviously are blind to the bigger picture...Racism is a tool for the Puppet Masters (Rockefellers, Rothschilds and company) to create separatism and derision of eachother not unity which is what The National and Maori Party are hoping to achieve...I wish them every success on the partnership

  • ....Im proud to be a kiwi : )

  • I heard Mr Key say that Mr Sharples was knocked over in the incident however I wasn't commenting about Mr Sharples.

  • continued from my last comment... If 2 white guys did that to a maori official they wouldnt even be named as white men in the news paper...the headline would read "2 men shoved an official". Lets bring it into perspective. In some cases peolpe were killed and land taken years ago. Today John Key was shoved. But he was very welcomed by 99.9% of the maori people except for a couple of clowns.

  • The media has recognised anti-Maori sentiment in white middle NZ and feeds that apetite but white NZ can't be blamed for that. There are reasons why Maoris are disliked and they are good reasons, until Maoris address their appalling abuse of our welfare system, our laws and their own children, that sentiment will remain.

  • Judging by a couple of vids in your favourites column, unfortunately I can see why you posted that particular comment...

  • I really felt sorry for John Key but seeing comments like "stupid bloody spearchuckers" and "savages," are typical white NZ racist remarks. I am mostly pakeha with an 1/8th Maori but get sick of hearing biggeted remarks like those I have heard for years at smoko breaks that usually start with..."I'm not racist BUT..." It has always been clear to me that there are more pakeha racist people in NZ than Maori. And thats because the SIS contolled NZ herrald did a good mindjob on us over the years

  • So many commenters here Blaming Lambasting Cussing, not much difference really in behaviour from the two men who accosted both Mr Key and Mr Sharples today.

  • Mr Sharples was not accosted...

  • Yes he was Did you not see the interview tonight on closeup?

  • No I didn't. All I've seen is this video in which the only person being assaulted was John Key. Pita Sharples certainly didn't look like he was occosted whatsoever in this video. If anything happened to him it would have been an accident unless I've missed something.

  • You can watch the clip if you go to TVNZ site click on News and you'll see a selection of todays news items as well as video, scroll down till you see "Drama with John Key at Waitangi" source:close up

  • I just watched it and also read a news piece which said Pita Sharples was knocked over as the police tore the attackers off John Key. It seems clear it was an accident and that Pita Sharples was not assaulted, he just got in the way as the other men scuffled.

  • If they are unhappy with John Key then surely they're not too happy with Pita Sharples either dont ya think?

  • I don't think Pita Sharples was accosted like you said he was regardless of what the attackers thought of him. They were focusing on John Key. Sharples merely got knocked over in the wrestling that went on because he was too close.

  • Mark Sainsbury said that Pita was put in a headlock, which for some reason must not have been captured on film, that action seems rather deliberate.

  • I doubt that can be classified as Sharples being accosted from the info we have here. Unlike the situation with John Key who was clearly the goal. More likely Sharples was in close proximity to the scuffle and had no more intention against him of being accosted than anyone else who got in the road.

  • My sincere apologies, turns out I interpreted the facts incorrectly ....Have a great day : )

  • wrong. the organization that these men come from do not like Pita Sharples because he is now a representative of the national government.

  • What organisation do these men come from?

  • I believe they came with The United Tribes of NZ. Though im not sure if the group approved of the attack.

  • Your page says you are a supporter of the united tribes of nz. Do you approve?

  • No i dont. It was embarrasing actually. I think they meant to get Te Wakaminenga some publicity, but they werent identified with them.

They werent from Ngapuhi either those 2 men. So naturally our Iwi dont approve of them doing that to our manuhiri in our territory either.

  • There seems to be a third assailant, Titiwhai Harawira latched onto our PM telling him to stand still, wtf

  • He had no choice but to stand still torque - there was no where to go. Titiwhai is a show pony - ignore her.

  • give the poor guy a break! he just started his job as a the PM and then broke his arm. Those to maoris are bastards. sorry bout bad language

  • Violence (Barbarity) employed by anyone regardless of what race one belongs to is regrettable....

  • what the fuck? no wonder there is so much hate in this country. they attack him because of getting there land so called taken off them, if barak obama got attacked like that those scumbags would have been dead on the ground. atleast that would have stopped a few burglaries in teh future

  • Actually, for your information, those men didnt attack Key out of defiance of any past wrongs. Dont make assumptions about Maori out of ignorance. Those two men are a part of an organization that does not represent all of Maori.

  • They should have just broke that savages arm, wheres that going to get him. those two maori's are just fucking uneducated savages!

  • I am mostly Pakeha, only a fifth Maori, thanks to the 4/5 white blood in me, i worked out i can claim to be a maori.

WHITE BLOOD= GREED. or on to it maori.

  • Well I don't think its GREED there are no full blooded Maori people left in NZ I'm also Pakeha, Maori, Spanish, Scottish but I look more Maori Spanish then my white side so I would say onto it Maori go hard and claim for whats rightfully yours!

  • Stupid bloody spearchuckers making fools of themselves again.

  • OMG I'm Maori and what a embarrassment that was! Those two men that hurt Mr Key are both arseholes for goodness sake when are people are going to fucking grow up its not Mr Keys fault what happened to Maori people centuries ago. Why cant we just all get together and be as one instead of fighting all the freaking time, I'm so glad and happy that Mr Key is our new Prime Minister Labour fans should be ashamed voting for Helen Clark Mr Key is cleaning up that bi-arches crap that she left behind.

  • All I can say is "where the heck were the diplomatic protection people"?
