CCI Minimag is hands down the best ammo that I have ever run through my guns. clean burning, copper coated so it won't foul a barrel as quickly as standard lead rounds. great quality, I've never had a misfire and have probably shot about 2,000 rounds of it through all of my .22's over the years.

I've shot mini mag since back in the 1970s. I found in my old rifles they were a little less accurate. But in newer rifles there great. Now I shoot CCI stingers, there great! They really tear it up when it comes to small game. And they hold a good flat shot a over 100 yard with stopping power. I guess you'll just have to ask some of the critters I shot with them!!! I picked up 5000 rounds of this ammo from Midway on sale. Without a doubt it's the most accurate and consistant 22's that I've shot.  It's also a good back up to have with you out and about in the woods or wherever. May not best my 357, but it's a whole lot better than having and empty hand.

@ruckaruckaaliable He reuses his gel, just melting it down after each use and molding it into a tool box. There are a few good HOW TO's on youtube on how to make your own. Its pretty easy and you can make it clear which allows study without having to split the gel.

I keep walking past the Ruger 10/22 bull barrel model, but there will be a day where it comes home. Plans are to move my Leupold 14X scope to that rifle (I know, way overkill for .22 LR), then add a new scope for the Bushmaster Varminter.

Google image search for "coyote livestock predation". You will find some disturbing images, but that's life. When a farmer feeds his family by raising cattle, sheep, etc. it becomes an issue. Attacks on humans are also becoming more common as our respective habitats continue to grow and overlap. We are absolutely overrun in my community.

these Mini-Mags are my favorite thing to shoot out of my new favorite gun: the S&W M&P 15-22. In fact, these and the Stingers are just about the only thing I will shoot out of it. The exception being Federal bulk pack ammo for a day of plinking. I stay away from Winchester bulk pack (have heard many bad things about it) and Remington bulk pack (have had bad experiences with it) like the plague! Thanks for the video and happy shooting!

have you heard of Paco Kelly's tool? You can adjust the lead tips. You should check them out- google paco kelly and then put them in the sim test. Makes your bulk ammo into a high grade 22 lr ammo with a tap of the tool! Check out gunblast, tools of the trade 3 video.

A 9mm carbine would be a better choice. Still very minimal recoil but much more powerful. I wouldn't trust any .22 HPs to perform well vs. clothing, especially a thick jacket.

Dont mess with our squirrels! lol. We use buckshot to take them down! That was a cool test, at that velocity with such a small grain bullit I would have thought it would have shattered apart. Very nice retained weight and great expansion
