  • Watch out, hes making a right turn!

  • Nice 19 running pretty good. Also nice K5LA horn on him too

  • I noticed that one of the ditch lights was burned out on the lead locomotive, and there's not many times that the Crescent has three locomotives, at least when it comes through Meridian Mississippi, where I live, it normally has two, but I wish that the locomotives on the Ctescent would run back to back though, that looks more normal, in a way.

  • I too prefer the locomotives back to back, and the only real guaranteed train you'll see this on is the Auto Train. 19 and 20 just about always have two locomotives. Sometimes you get lucky. Thanks for your well-typed and well thought out comment.

  • The P-40 looks almost identical to the P-42"s right? Great video, I haven't seen more than 2 engines on The Crescent since I've been filming, I missed the day when the NS unit towed the train and they had 4 units (including the NS unit) on it...Favorite and 5*****!

  • They're identical, aside from HP. P42's produce 4200HP, and the P40's produce only 4000HP.

  • P42s actually produce 4250 hp, but hey, what's 50 horses among friends? :-) When generating full HEP, they are reduced to 3178 hp. From Wikipedia.

  • You know what I'm talking about. Bite me. Hahah.

  • nice love the horn im mad i havent had a chance to record the crescent in two weeks it has been late every day or maybe its been earlier than it usually comes lol
