  • I realize this video is 2 years old, I'm just wondering if this anemone still alive? My new nem looks exactly like this one and everyone tells me it's bleached. I am wondering if I should worry.

    Thanks

  • its rob and big

    lol

  • He is just so--------- excited!

  • Nice fish dude one of my saddleblack clownfish notice the anemone already because my bubble anemones likes the power heads in the back of the tank and some like power heads in the side is this true?

  • hi may i ask a question do all salt water fish tank need sea sand

  • dude if I buy two tank raised ocellaris clownfish right they might host bubble anemones after 2 months right?

  • This is my first tank...

  • Do anemones need a certain light?? I have a long tenticled....

  • what kind of lights do you use for your anemone?

  • For this bubble tip, T5's and PC's are fine if the anemone is fairly high. My other tank has metal halides.

  • wow thanks for the fast response! one last question, how many hours a day do you leave the lights on for the anemone? thnx!!!

  • just over 8 hours. I also feed it mysis shrimp once/week.

  • can u tell me what is medium water movement please? medium water movement means one power head with filter built in right? because I have a power head with a filter in it already?

  • In a 20 gallon tank that sounds about right. I would probably go with a MJ900 vs. the MJ400.

  • biowheel 200, max jet 400 and korila powerhead 400 gph are fine for bubble tip anemones in a 20 gallon nano fish tank? do you only use power head then hang on filters?

  • Can you show me another video of your tank raised ocellaris clownfish please thanks? does all ocellaris clownfish host bubble tip anemones too?

  • I don't have the Red Sea Max tank that they were in anymore. Clownfish don't necessarily host - especially the tank raised variety.

  • Can I put the bubble tip anemones in a bucket so the tank raised ocellaris clownfish can get use to it is that fine for them?

  • I have a tank raised ocellaris clownfish too? I am just wondering can you tell me when would my ocellaris clownfish could host bubble tip anemones? check out my videos dude?

  • are your ocellaris clownfish tank raised or anemones raised from the pet store?

  • The clownfish are tank raised.

  • Does you ocellaris clownfish feed the bubble tip anemones once a week? how often do you feed your bubble tip anemones? by the way I have one long tentacle anemones and saddleblack clownfish in a 20 gallon nano they are doing fine and I know how to feed the long tentacle anemones I might start with bubble tip anemones in a 20 gallon nano?

  • How big is your female ocellaris clownfish and male ocellaris clownfish? ocellaris clownfish and percula clownfish are the same type of fish right? can percula clownfish could host bubble tip anemones? what kind of camera are you using to record your reef fish?

  • sooo....the anemone was in your tank for two months before the clowns noticed it? (they are cute btw!!)

  • Thanks. Yes, they ignored it for two months. I finally put the anemone in a smaller container, then placed the clown fish in the container to get them used to it. When I placed the anemone and clownfish back into the tank, they connected. :)

  • oh wow. thank you, i will find your info very helpful!

  • What kind of clownfish you have is it Percula clownfish or ocellaris clownfish?

  • They are oscellaris.

  • cute!
