The AIP is not a secsionist party, The first tenet of its platform is the compliance with the Constitution of the USA and the State of AK. The director of Division of Elections in Alaska, Gail Fenumiai, told TPMmuckraker that Todd Palin registered in Oct 1995 to the AIP, a radical group that advocates for Alaskan secession from the US.
Besides a short period of a few months in 2000 when he changed his registration to undeclared, Todd Palin remained a registered member of AIP until July 2002 when he registered again as an undeclared voter.

Actually, Palin's husband was a member of AIP from 1995 to 2002 (factcheck) so it's not a stretch to think that Sarah wouldn't have at least a bit of an interest in AIP while married to someone who belonged to the party.
The hypocrisy stems from McPalin's "Country First" slogan, which obviously is completely asinine considering their belittling of other people who do put their country first (ie community organizers, liberals, the media)
A better slogan would be "Fascism First"

what could you possibly mean by fascist? it is obama who is trying to socialize health care and community support like welfare (soviet union, anyone?), raise taxes, and leave our country defenseless. obama can't even put his hand on his heart for the pledge of allegiance. don't get confused, kid.

You do realise the 'average' American (certainly what you sound like, but then, this is the internets) would be 3-5 times better off under Obama's tax plan than McCain's. 'Leave our country defenseless' clearly, Abolish the Military '08, who's with me? No one? Go figure. The pledge thing earns an el oh el.

3-5 times better off? where did you find those statistics? abolish the military? maybe not, but he's vowed to rid us of almost any defenses other than humans. and i'm no patriot, but i would soon expect our president to show some respect for the country he might be leading. karl marx made some good points, but a lot can sound good on paper.

Obama's a dud and the vast majority of his followers are blinded by the Obamassiah's words and can't see the truth for what it is.
Several of the tenants of Marxism are part of the democrat party platform.
Pathetic. Really pathetic. "Change" we must believe in is marxist change? I don't think so. The US Governments needs to focus on America and stop wasting money on failed programs. I'd say we have a better chance with McCain than Obama. Certainly Palin would be even better.

On government spending is one of the things I agree the most with Ron Paul about. I don't like his foreign policy views much and he'd likely weaken us militarily. Probably is against NASA, too. But he's got lots of positives... certainly his 9/11 conspiracy following that listens to alex jones isn't one of them.
