I saw Travis at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach SC. His show is everything you would expect and more. Great song writer and singer. Gretchen Wilson opened for him. She put on a great show too. She was doing Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones. Just a great night.

The year that his song Anymore came out and was at the top of the charts, I was about 19 or 20. I was working at a store outside the Galleria Mall in Birmingham, Al. and was walking to my car when I noticed a tour bus in the parking lot. The tour bus said Bandit on the front and was curious who was in it. I saw a man get out of the bus and he was walking his dog. I went up to him, shook his hand and asked who's bus it was, he said Travis Tritt owns it now. It was Burt Renold's.

I asked if I could get an autograph and he said that Travis was pretty tired from doing a show that nite. I thanked the man for being so nice and wished him well.  Later that nite I tuned into CMT to see what Travis Tritt looked like and found out that the man I was talking to with his dog...was Travis Tritt. He is a super nice guy.
