hey all my name is nick and I am the owner of the car. The car has an invidia catless downpipe, an invidia q300 cat-back and an AEM cold air intake running a cobb access port stage 2 AEM map. There is really no drone to this exhaust,m it's quite quiet just crusing around but when you get on it, it sounds pretty beastly. I used lamin-x tail light tint for the tail lights but I have recently removed it and spray tinted the tail lights, looks alot better now in my opinion.
@sergsrt8 yea more of what i heard from an 07 sti owner......but i want to get a legit answer from someone that actually has one. but what ive heard that 08-up wrx and sti models dont take off as well and the suspension in general has been downgraded a little
I was actually surprised with how well my 08 STI handled compared to my 04 & 05. I now have a 09 WRX that would have easily out handled my 04 STi and all it has suspension wise is coil overs.
@KaostC2010 I've heard the opposite, at least for the newer WRX. Plus I own a 2011 and it's pretty good through the turns. I can take a 45mph turn at 80+ in most cases; this is the first WRX (non STI) I've owned but the understeer I keep hearing about inherent in WRXs is almost non-existent in this car.
Funny, this is right up the street from me. Bushkill Drive near college hill. Ive got an '09 sedan silver. There are always 10 STI's on the side of the road in mothballs.
