  • A person can almost get inside and travel to Faroe Islands.

  • @MrTitanic9, yes it is a real u boat, it is aproximately 58 feet long and is controlled by 1 person, but there can fit more in there.

  • Is this where the man's sister was in a toilet?

  • ja ja, those were the last pictures of it.. it drowned!!

  • IS THIS A REAL UBOAT OR IS IT A TOY

  • ALARMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  • It's very small

  • just a question, if it's remote controlled? how do you steer it when it is dived?

  • AAAALLAAARMAAA!!!!

  • That is cool! I would love to have the skill to build one of those.

  • @wwwtotalitaerde

Stop spamming all of these videos!

  • thats not 12.6 meters to say the least.... about 6ft is all it is....

  • I know the guy who owns this toy - and it's only 1m long - weighs around 80 kg.

    Radio controlled -

everybody who says otherwise is a dick!

  • @TheStraightpride duuude, the guy who filmed this is a coowner of the sub....dick

  • how big is this model?

  • @plukcc

    Are you serious ???

The post just below yours stated thats its 12,6 meters long and displaces around 6 tons...

  • question, how you operate a remote controlled sub? does it have a pre-fixed diving time and then it resurface or does it launch a floting antena? ty!

  • @darket1234

It NOT a remotely controlled sub!!!!

Its a handmade submarine that will fit 2-3 persons

  • @gladio4ever it does look kinda small for the wake

  • @darket1234

Good observation - yes it is indeed.

But thats because of 2 things:

    1) Its small size: it only has a length of 12.6 meter LOA as opposed to a WW2 german type VII c UBoot with a lenght of 67.1 m.

Consequently it only displaces around 6 tons of water as opposed to the 871 long tons submerged of a type VII.

    2) the speed - Kraka could only managed 6-6,5 knots on the surface as opposed to the 17.7 knots of the type VII.

  • Scheiße.

  • was that suposed to do that lol

  • I sure hope thats not a "manned" model sub, I can just imagine the risks running on open seas if something goes wrong or another boat collides with it

  • @KlunkerRider

Its NOT a model sub ... and is HAS navigated open seas. Many times.

  • the test of the u-boat's ability to remain undetected was successful, to this day poor frank still has not located his vessel and if anyone finds it can u PM him pls

  • That's one heck of a toy. Well done to the people (person) that put that together.

  • @kolbpilot

Not a toy - a testbench before the bigger UC-3 Nautilus built in 2008.

  • OMG, are the periscopes up?! What a mistake! Dönitz clearly stated: periscopes must be down while on surface! That's an error! Avoid it!

    :)

  • way to waste our time you fat fuck

  • I'm wondering how well the radio works underwater. One dive isn't worth the cost.

  • @tryithere

Cost of what: its manned and piloted by the experienced Peter Madsen. This is his second submarine - and he built a third AFTER this one: all piloted and all real submarines.

  • In submarine terms a crash dive dose not mean that the boat is about to crash it is a procedure that is used to rapidly dive a submarine usually to avoid enemy aircraft or incoming fire only smaller conventionally powered boat`s are able to preform this kind of dive as larger nuclear powered boats take a lot longer to dive

  • 1 - its not a submarine

2 - there is no crash

  • @jalekb

    1- it's a submarine, u-boat, from the WWII :)

2- crash diving its dive as fast as posible, avoiding detection or enemy fire. all ballast tanks opens, they get full of water, engines at max, and the sub goes all down till a predeterminated depth (depending of the sub, it may be from 40 to 60 mts)

  • @LetztezBatallion

    1) no its not ! Its a submarine handbuild by Peter Madsen in Denmark 2006 and called Kraka.

It has a passing resemblance to a type VIIC - but thats all.

  • @jalekb

    1) Yes it is.

    2) No thats right there is no crash - its a diving test called "Crash Diving" - look it up on WikIpedia.

  • if I remember correct there is only room for 3 or 4 persons in the sub

  • I missed the crash ...

  • Good friend of mine built a model sub in the 70's, powered by lead acid batteries. It was having it's maiden voyage in the local park, he turned on the radio control under it's perspex waterproof seal, attached the top half of the wooden hull and pushed the radio control stick forward. BOOOOM!!!! Big explosion... he'd only forgotten to vent the hydrogen.

  • 5*****

  • Capt Nemo has very very short legs indeed.

  • i would love to ride in that

  • Nice sub! Sure would love to own one like that. Can't get enough of submarines.

  • фуфло, лодка игршечная

  • I bet captain nemo is inside

  • carries 3 people? I want one for Christmas tomorrow, sure beats the Brown "Tow Sub" we got under the tree in 1963, a two man aqua colored tow sub that is still the best present ever!

  • Amazing model of the ship, well done excellent

  • what toy is that? i wanna buy that shit.

  • You think THIS is cool. Check out her big sister! Search for "UC3 Nautilus"

  • world largest psub, made in Denmark is way cool

  • poeple can ride in that? I WANT

  • how do you drive it underwater?

  • mabye with a stear.... periscope....

  • Thats a bloody cool toy mate!

  • so now its under the water, you don't know where the bloody hell it is except by dead reckoning and most radio signals don't go far underwater. daft without a camera on the sub.

  • good about this video

  • I think the Kraka is one of the best, if not THE BEST homemade/personal subs in the world from what I've seen from pictures and videos. Look forward to seeing more videos in the near future.

    Chris

  • plz post better video's

  • what is his website address ?

can we see video of the engine room and interior. plz

  • I knew it was a toy. I've got a r.c. chinook, it's so cool 'cos it can fire mimy c4 missles!

  • That is a remotely-controlled scale model, probably about 1 metre in length.

  • Westlock,

    No, she´s 12.6 meters / 6 ton.

  • @herkules213 jeg har hørt noget om at han bygger en i stor størelse ..er det rigtigt ?

  • It's a pretty cool toy, but not a remote control one. It's 6 meters long and carries around three people I believe
