This forever changed my opinion of jackfruit. I made a batch last night and instead of making sandwiches I made a BBQ pizza with pineapple, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and tomato. My mouth is still recovering from the amount of amazing it was subjected to.

Omg this looks like pulled pork! Why, is jackfruit naturally white or yellow orange? I've only had the orange one in syrup from the can as far as I can remember. Gotta try this when I get near an international market. We're promoting your book, good luck!! & Hi to the fiance.

@bearandrainbow Yeah, the "young" or "green" jackfruit has a pale color. The sweet stuff in the syrup is ripened jackfruit...which will definitely not work for the "pulled pork" texture. Thanks so much for promoting the book..I am going to check out your channel now...the fiance is at a baby shower (not her own) right now...but i'm sure she says "Hi" too.
