Do you guys remember a preceding local TVQ-0 show "9 o'clock" - with Bob La Castra and friends. Bob moved across from BTQ 7's Wombat. "9 o'clock" had a really catchy theme which went something like this - "its nine o'clock and its a brand new day, so much to see and say, every day, at nine o'clock". Bob by the way I believe is now a Gold Coast councillor.
I remember enjoying watching this local TV on sick days from school. A shame there's not this level of localism in 2009. Bring it back I say and same with the earlier show that Ian Skippen was a part of.
Had forgot about Tony Gordon's demise, a sad loss.
Was In Brisbane Today still on-air by the time Brisbane Extra debuted?

Unfortunately before my time Pugsley, did see La Castra on Big Square Eye.
As a GCCC councillor, he makes a fantastic TV host ;-)

Living with Ian Skippen... I would think TVQ even airing old episodes, would rate better than 9am with David and Kim!
