i love my e46..330ci is the shit..best car i've owned..shit is so god damn surprised, you'd be amazed at it's power, especially from stock. the best thing about beamers is that they are the sexiest cars even before modifaction..once you modify them(if u have taste), they look fuckin' incredible. don't believe me? look at a beamer with a vorsteiner hood and a csl bootlid sitting on some m6 rims or zhp rims or some bbs/csl reps doesn't look sick..//mpower for life, my next car is gonna be bmw 4sho

I stand corrected. Yes, the DSC button does mean the stability control is off. If you hold it for 5 seconds, the brake light indicator comes on and according to my manual, this boost brake psi for aggressive driving

and here at this video the brake and stability led lights are yellow, in my 330ci smg they are red!

In my 04 330ci, if I hold the DSC for @ 5 seconds, the brake light comes illuminates in the dash. I thought I read in my owners manual that the "sport option package" increases brake psi for more aggressive driving. You do not have to have the sport button depressed to have the brake light on. Also, my light is yellow as well.

330 ci is a great car. doing 250 km/h isn't a problem for it as you can see.

Revving it into or close to the red zone will damage your engine by leaving too much oil residue.

there's a reason there's a redline. if it damaged your engine to go near it, the redline would be lower.

It will demage it if the vehicle is stationary, redline is the safe point to where it can "safely" rev without a demage. If you removed the rev limiter that is 6.8 (6.5-7) and to go higher it is not the oil that gets screwed but the timing belt and the camshafts will start to flex leaving "possible" catastrophic engine failure. The perticular 330Ci must be ZHP with 6800 RPM limiter (it has different camshafts then non-ZHP).

Doesn't the SMG have 6 speeds? Isn't this the same gearbox as it is on the E46 M3? Because that one has 6. I'm assuming he doesn't change gear because the car pulls harder in 5th then in 6th...

cant beleive the manual 330i revs higher! Redline starts at 6500rpm. But deffinetley was a better choice to have manual instead of auto. 6 Speed manual @ 250km/h = 5000rpm on 6th gear.

That's not steptronic, it's SMG! I have a 330ci with steptronic, if you pay attention it has paddle shifters on the steering and also on the dash it says only the gear you are in, and not M 1,2,3 and so on as the steptronic does...You will never make the tires spin in 2nd as it does, with a steptronic.

it just doesn't let you, never!
