  • i can answer 250 grant question

  • La Capitale de la République de la Géorgie est Tbilissi est c'est mon dernier mot

  • Ugh, he should have stopped and thought after the 50/50. To me Vilnius just doesn't sound Georgian. It's a 50/50 change of getting it right and your money doubles. Especially when you factor in that if you're right you'll not only double your money but get another question you might have a shot at knowing which would quadruple your money.

All that besides, I'm pretty surprised he didn't have a Geography nut on his phone-a-friend.

  • i've been to tallinn :D

  • Ugh, I knew the answer to the last question.

Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria. [my country]

    Vilnius is Lithuania.

    Tallinn is Estonia.

    and Tbilisi is Georgia.

  • Country capitals are the easiest targets. Seriously, all you have to do is memorize them. It's better than random questions about unpopular TV shows. Same goes for the periodic table of the elements and the U.S. presidents.

  • regis is a fucking ass

  • I really liked the first celebrity edition but after that it all seemed to suck. If I didn't know better there were more celebrities on than there were regular people.

  • lol "on tv you know the guy's just going to give up, he's just draggin' it out" LOL SO TRUE

  • funny guy

  • his deductive process concerning feminists is epic...

  • Man, if Ray Romano had played the first Splinter Cell game, he would've gotten that last question. >.<;

Ah well, at least he got 125k.

  • Darn, every answer on that $250,000 I know which capital they belong to which country. And that is without looking at Google. I know because of general knowledge.

  • Darn, every answer on that $250,000 I know which capital they belong to which country.

  • @TheMattTrivium Yeah, I know. But I can also be safe in the knowledge that I used to play Championship Manager a lot and therefore know where some places are. You can choose not to believe that, if you wish. I couldn't give a flying fuck.

  • I had nervous attack, i thought he would answer right away, I Love Ray anyway. greets from Georgia

  • When I saw the question, I thought of Championship Manager. :)

    Tallin - Estonia?

    Vilnius - Lithuania?

    Sofia - Bulgaria?

    Tblisi! YAY!

  • Ohh, Tbilisi is the most beautiful city I have ever seen in my life. Very sad he did not know about this capital :(

  • I called Ray "Shrink Ray" after I saw this Lol

  • When the question came up, I thought T'Bilisi right away from Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell game. I knew that Sofia is Bulgaria and Vilnius is Lithuania and I knew Tallinn is not in Georgia. It's more west of Georgia.

  • @pokemonguy2001 OH RLY?

  • dam i knew that question wit tbilisi and it was 250k one ...dam !

  • Ummm, ray didnt know the Tbilisi is the Capital Republic of Georgia ?

I learned that ages ago, I am living in the UK

  • On the feminist slogan question, I haven't heard it that way, I've heard "a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle." Also...is that Lance Bass still in the audience? Lol Wouldn't he have left after he was done?

  • Wow , That's where Iive :)) Tbilisi :X

  • It has nothing to do with Americans not studying, it's not something that's TAUGHT in the average American high school. It didn't even come up in my AP World History class. Having spent the last two years of my high school career taking college classes (AP, IB and local universities), I never learned that, so even a hard-working average American kid wouldn't know unless they learned it on their own. Now, you can blame that on the education system, but it's certainly not the fault the student.

  • Hey. Foreign people are completely stupid when it comes to the USA. They always blame the education system because they're too arrogant.

  • @tehlinebeginstoblur dude, everybody who watches the news from time to time knows that.

  • @oringent Are you referring to my comment or the question? My point was that Najo161 said the question would be "easy for Europeans" but Americans wouldn't know it BECAUSE "they don't study." The average American not knowing such a piece of trivia is not at all related to Americans being lazy or CHOOSING not to study in school. You can read the textbook cover to cover but if the information's not in there, the student's inability to know such info has nothing to do with them "not studying."

  • Yes, Sofia is Bulgaria, Vilnius is Lithuania, and Tallinn is Estonia.

  • Ha ha ha ha ha! Stupid ass Bean!

  • /What year was this?

  • may 4, 2000

  • o my god, have you seen Patricia Heaton on Millionaire?

  • sadly, yes.

  • @angel585 why what happened? Did she lose very fast?

  • I knew this, but I'm a geography buff.

With harder choices the question would've been harder...I'm pretty sure most people know Sofia, and Vilnius is a lot better known than T'blisi too...

  • Oh my God the 250,000 $ question was very very very easy!!

  • You know most Americans are terrible at world Geography, even U.S. Geography. It was easy for me too, but I'm not American. :)

  • Aha but why did you wrote on your channel that you're from USA??

  • I'm sorry why did you WRITE ;P

  • Comment removed

  • It's only easy if you know the answer, and Ray didn't know it.

  • If I was a rich, successful millionaire, or if I was Ray Ramono in this situation, I would have said "I'm going to guess an answer and if I'm wrong, I'll make up the $93,000 I lost out of my own pocket".

That would not only grab cheers and admiration from the audience, but would be good for everyone involved.

  • The more people have money the less they want to loose it...just take a look at Donald Trump, his own life depends on building towers, casinos, selling appeasements...and i know what you r thinking: if we were him, we would have stopped building and enjoyed life with the money we got....

  • Jack Black said that lol

  • lol..its only easy questioning because its celebrity millionare and its for charity... :D so who cares as long as it goes to charity... :D

  • This question about the capitals for 250 000$ is terribly easy. It is therefore clearly visible that this is American version:D

  • I bet if you were on Polish WWTBAM playing for a million zlotys and the question was about a U.S. state's capitol, you wouldn't know the answer =)

  • Not exactly. I am the student of English Philology at one of the best departments in my country and we are obliged to know both all the American presidents, U.S. states and their capitals, as well... Of course, you have numerous educated people in U.S.- this can be widely observed even in my school so I might overgeneralize a little, sorry...

  • But Georgia is whole entire country. Not a small part of a country.

  • haha, I love how the audience claps before he says "final answer" cheat!!! haha

  • they should make a movie with ray & mr bean lol that would be so cool haha then in the movie they meet jakie chan & chris taka lmao best movie eva but it will never happen

  • i knew it was t'blisi

  • I wasn't talking about Ray. Bean is the guy he called on his "Phone a Friend" option who biffed the question about the capital of Georgia.

  • Bean is an awesome jock on the kevin and bean show so fuck you

  • Stupid Bean.

  • he's italian.

  • ..See grandma? It DOES help to play video games! It's T'billisi, because in Splinter Cell they sent Fisher to the capital of Georgia in T'bilisi! :D

  • In the celebrity editions they are allowed to cheat up to the $32,000 level, even if they missed a question prior to reaching that level they would leave with 32K for their charity.

  • Dude, lighten up... IT'S FOR CHARITY

  • @geoguitargod They are doing it so more money will go to charity.

  • atlanta lmfao!!!

  • i hated how they held the check up, but w/e it was still a good show

  • yes multiple questions do tend to be very easy when you know the answer.

  • the recording is so bad we can't even see c or d

  • well i like this recording better than yours.

  • Sofia!!!! Come on, man. SOFIA GEORGIA!

  • No, it's Sofia, Bulgaria.

  • it's funny how trivial knowledge depends somewhat on where you live. I live in Finland/Europe and would have known every one of those captial cities and their countries. (visited some actually). With some of those other questions I had no idea.

  • Celebrity Millionaire (USA) is so weird, the audience claps before they even find out if an answer is right or wrong, Celebrity Millionaire (UK) is better cos the audience waits for the answer to turn green before they clap.

Ray should of just said both answers B and C out loud at the end and pretended to think, and the audience would have clapped at one of them and then he could of said which ever answer he heard the most claps for and he would of got the question right.

  • a fish without a

    fins??

  • That would knock out Aquarium too. Although you're assuming feminists are grammatically correct.

  • rofl

  • Tbilisi, you morons.

  • Soon everyone's going to know about Georgia lol. Not exactly for a good reason.

  • hell ya they called Bean! kevin and bean 4 life yo!

  • omg i love ray he is so funny!

  • No offence but you live a bit closer to these countries than Ray so it only be natural for you to know this.

  • A bit arrogant and pissy are we today?!!

  • lol

  • Can you please tell me off the top of your head the capital of the Seychelles?

  • lol

  • Victoria.

  • @EricAKATheBelgianGuy Victoria is the capital of Seychelles, and I didn't need to look it up.

  • @9000Bullets Sey-what again ?

  • rays hilarious

  • ohhh robert.

  • debraa.

  • good to see Ray

  • go ray woo!!

  • cool

  • I agree - I knew what it was before the answers were given. I am gay, but I know many straight people who know geographic capitals.. (to rdfman)

  • ashoka10 is right. I used to learn capitals all the time. It was just fun and you gain knowledge at the same time.

rdfman89, your reasoning would mean that anyone with knowledge is a fag. I have no problem with gay people but I'd rather offer my own logic which goes along the lines of:

    no knowledge = idiot

    Therefore,

    rdfman89 = idiot

  • Keep em coming
